To be honest, I was majorly confused while reading this update. Thoda sar ke upar se chala gaya. Koi nahi, I read it twice 😆 But I'm still kinda confused. Like, for example, Asad had sent Prasad to get the file, right? So how come he's back home by the time Zoya had cleaned the table? Okay, ignore that 😆 Third reading cleared everything *Damn, I'm slow*

i really like how you have written this chapter. Though a little difficult to grasp at first, I loved reading it. Zoya and Asad's feelings, the descriptions you gave, their actions and reactions - absolutely perfect! Like that scene where Zoya asks permission from Asad if she could start working at the bookstore - Zoya's subsequent fear that Asad wouldn't agree - and then the power cut during which he surprises her with the tulips. Beautiful scene, that one. I have absolutely no idea what he wanted to ask/tell her though 😆

You know what - sometimes you don't need a full blown confession of eternal love to prove that you love someone. The little things, the small moments, the actions - they do the talking for you. Here you have a man who takes pleasure in cooking breakfast for his wife, fusses over her when she's ill / injured, brings her favourite flowers to congratulate her, blushes when he thinks of her and treats her like a delicate flower. If these actions don't scream "I love you" then I don't know what does. And then you have Zoya. She does all sorts of silly things around him, irritates him, but knows how to keep him happy. She has changed from from a girl who had lost her trust in humanity after her loss and marriage to an absolute stranger - to a woman who who takes pride in her marital status and enjoys it. She understands when she unintentionally hurts him and makes it up to him. Again, if this isn't a declaration of love, I don't know what is.

As to how Zoya knew Asad loved reading Rumi and Asad knew that Zoya's favourite flowers were tulips - I stick to my ex-opinion. That Asad was Zoya's childhood friend - so they know. A few dialogues in this chapter and the previous chapter hint towards that. So that would be my guess.

Hmm but how can a child read RUMI at that age and also how can a child differentiate between flowers 😆 I mean as kids all they want to do is pluck them and play with them 🤣

also how did Zoya come to know if Asad was her childhood friend? 😆 😆
