Aahil's treatment of Rehan was horrible; do people on Gul's show think that it is perfectly acceptable to demean and degrade someone and then hand them an expensive watch to make up for it?
That is SO WRONG in so many ways...you do not do that to people and to say that you've forgotten about it and that you're over it shows even more inconsideration. Impulsive behavior that is cruel and heartless does damage.

And Aahil is very lucky that his personal assistant still chooses to stay with him - apparently some obligation to Aahil's mother...but to do that with a cherry face? His mother must have really done something for him for Rehan not to feel the least bit bothered by Aahil's horribly disrespectful behavior.

Something must have happened in Rehan's past. Perhaps he was an orphan and she took him in and raised him...gave him an education...basically made him what he is today.
He's indebted but I agree...the way Aahil treats him is disgraceful.

Aahil also has had a problematic childhood...someone used to beat him with a belt...but again that is not a justification for his behavior. He is a spoiled brat. He is indeed lucky to have someone as loyal as Rehan behind him.

I completely agree. When Rehan put away that watch and said he's with Ahil because of his obligation to Begum Sahiba, I didn't blame Rehan one bit. The main thing people took away from it was that Rehan may be grey and may be working with Tanveer.

It may be, but it is justifiable even if he is not grey. I hope Rehan is not grey (meaning I hope he's not in cahoots with Tanveer). Because to me his reaction was real. I was glad when Rehan put away that watch and I felt for him. I am glad we saw him express he is sticking with Ahil due to his obligation. I am glad he now knows exactly where he stands with Ahil and keep that same amount of distance himself as well.

I think it is very much possible that Rehan is/was genuine about his care for Ahil, whether he be grey or not. For the sake of good story telling I do hope he is not grey and working with Tanveer to manipulate Ahil.

Rather I hope Rehan is shown as a real character. What I saw with Rehan, his reaction to how Ahil treated him. It was real. It strengthened the story, the characterizations and the relationship. I don't need him to be Tanveer's evil lackey tricking Ahil. I hope he is a well etched out character with different layers and shades who like Ahil has his own connection and loyalty to Begum Sahiba, but still genuine.

Love is unconditional between friends, siblings or within family member. We should not comment without knowing the depth.

Anger blind us all time to time, as a parent I have said wrong thing to my child when I am distressed. I repent as soon as I have control, sometimes even when very sorry about my own behaviors tried to make up by making their best dish or take them out after saying sorry and even though they are very small they understand I didn't mean it and I love them unconditionally..
We are all human with flaws, you might be perfect to point them in others. But from my own experience if love between two people has depth, it knows whats on surface and whats at depth..
Aahil and Rehan might share same love, which cannot be shaken by just small display of anger..

I agree!!

Very well said! Thank you! Your comment was unbiased and beautifully put together...even as a young adult I still get angry at my parents at times, and immediately feel bad about it and sometimes tend to say some not so good stuff in anger, which you don't mean. You only hurt your closed ones, but they are still behind your back and everyone's display of affection can't be dissected as to what is right and what is wrong?😕

Aahil and Rehaan share that same type of bond, to the TM it is too early to judge about these characters, let them grow and let us see how they are more b/4 we go pointing fingers when we are yet to even understand these characters and their behaviors.

Isn't this a reality in a lot of houses... the treatment of house-help...
House-help are mistreated and then a 'gift' is given to them to keep house-help loyal.

This also happens in the business world where sub-ordinates are forced to behave like they should be eternally grateful to their bosses.

Its great that Gul has the show-case this theme in the serial as it is a reality.
I do hope they play this out well.

@beekay...Great example! I agree! Yes, it is too early to judge these characters...we have yet to see how deep these relations grow and how they behave in different situations.

Why not?

There is no excuse for the words he used towards Rehan; they were ugly. It was cruel and in my book abusive...you cannot just 'sorry' that type of behavior and I cannot fathom why Rehan stays with him - it makes him look like an abusive victim. Aahil didn't even any wrong doing in what he did and just tried to buy off Rehan with a watch...not even a sorry, that's makes it twice as wrong.

I agree with TM that the treatment of Rehan by Aahil was unacceptable. But the good bit was that he DID acknowledge that his behaviour was incorrect and in his own way tried to make it up by giving him an expensive gift! It is clear from what the accountant said today that Aahil is not someone who is conservative when spending money. He is in the habit of rewarding his employees and generally throwing money at people and things!

He was angry and he said some nasty things to Rehan. He was sorry and he gave him an expensive gift. Unfortunately a lot of rich guys do that sort of thing. I think most guys of this sort either treat someone badly, or cheat on GF etc, and then buy them an expensive gift. The only difference with Aahil is that he never tells any women that he wants commitment. So he doesn't actually have to "Cheat" as he dosent actually have a REAL girlfriend. Just women he picks up, makes out with, or have sex with and give expensive gifts, cash etc, and on to the next thing!!

I by NO means condone his actions with Rehan. The way Rehan reacted was actually genuine. He was hurt by the way Aahil spoke to him. Then when he gave him the watch he was genuinely surprised and he was actually not the least bit interested in it. He put it away, coz he cannot be BOUGHT! That is what Rehan proved today. Not that he is "grey" and working for Tanveer, but quite the opposite in my opinion. He showed that he is a man who has self respect and he keeps his word. He gave his word to "Begham Sahiba" and he will keep it!

There are many layers to both the characters. But I think the relationship between Aahil and Rehan is genuine. Aahil cares for Rehan the best way a man like him can, and despite the fact that Rehan says it is his loyalty to Begam Sahiba that keeps him with Aahil, I think somewhere in his heart there is a soft corner for him, and he genuinely does care for him. THIS dynamic and this relationship will be one to watch!
