Hey Guys,
I am making a new post in this forum after ages...mainly because I stopped watching the show from January, but the new season has managed to capture my interest again...so much so that I thought of having a little chit-chat with my old pals and new groups in this forum. 😊
Let's move the time-turner one week back and quickly recap the last few episodes of my fav (and only) show on Indian Television:
WHAT'S HOT!
1. SaHil Chemistry: Oh yes! They are HOT as Hell 😳 . The rakish charm of Aahil and the exuberant beauty of Sanam are already working wonders...(well, for me at least ) With all those sparks flying around (literally!) whenever they meet, things are going to be fiery and intense in the future, it seems. 😉
2. Sanam's character: The writers have thankfully managed to keep the 'AsYa' essence intact in Sanam's character. I couldn't help smiling at the fact that she is a cleanliness freak just like Asad (Bilkul apne abbu pe gayi hai ladki ), and all her 'Khandani ladki' talks...reminded me so much of Mr.Khan ❤️
On the other hand, she shows glimpses of her mother's traits too. Particularly, when she ordered Aahil to bug off. Her compassion and love for Haya is something she has surely inherited from Zoya...
3. Dilshad's new avatar: She is the epitome of grace, and poise, and sweetness...those glasses only added to her adorable-quotient. Simply love her as badi ammi 👏
4. Haya: I found her really cute. She reminds me of Nikhat ( her masi) and that's a good thing, since I miss my old QH cast so much...😭
Now, the let-downs (strictly my opinion):
1. Anwar: He is definitely not someone I can see Sanam with. The guy is lacking screen presence, and his acting prowess failed to impress me. The fact that his character is being portrayed as a modern day 'Harish Chandra' only adds to my suspicion 😆 (trust me, a little cynicism is always healthy, specially in the big bad world of television )
...and CV's, please come up with new names. Zoya's Jiju's name was Anwar, for God's sake!😲
Aahil's accent: "Itna gurur, I luheek (like) it"...well, that accent cracked me up 🤣! The less said, the better.
3. The plot seems a bit predictable...but wait! Predictable is good...cheesy romance and flying dupatta's and hot encounters 👍🏼, I will take them and relish them any day over the bloody violence and endless gory nightmares we were subjected to a few months back.
So far, the PROs outweighs the CONs, and I believe a lot of the early birds (nadaan parindey who were terribly heart-broken by the end of season-1) are tuning in again to give our beloved show a second chance.
CVs, this time will you be kind enough not to shatter our dreams completely? I sincerely hope so.😊
P.S Aahil Raja Ibrahim, would you mind keeping your hands off Miss "Dhabewali" whenever you are around her? Ya, we all know you have some 'chemical locha' in your dimaag when you see her, but she is our 'AsYa's daughter' for Heaven's sake! 😆
If she has inherited her 'slapping power' from her father, you will end up blushing more than the bride on your wedding night ☺️ (in far future, though)
