AMAZING POST, FIRST OF ALL!

And I love the episodes! The characters. The characterisations! GREAT CHEMISTRY! Setting even! Yes even the khet where we see Sanam all peeping Tom too is worthy a mention!

And as you correctly put it Aahil honestly has no care what people think of him.

Also Rehan though calls him Bhaijaan...is not really his brother? Hmm.

Definitely seeing an IPK here. With the shadow of QH 1 ever looming!

And am not complaining.

Lovely Post Soup.. It's nice to see you around and read your post again..

I haven't watched IPK and just started watching the repeat so this story is entirely new to me.. Hahahah

But SaHil are so intense! It's nice watching them but Gul often has many violence filled and negativeness in her shows and I hope she handles them well on this one..

The characterization for each seem bang on for now and hope it stays that way..

I guess we'll see more of your post now?

It's Qubool Hai to Gul's show from me yet again too..

Great post. The parallels to IPK are quite clear. Including the set of Sanam and co's house. Yes Rehan and Haya, kind if like Akash and Payal. Rehan is very handsome and cute. He also has a calming effect on Aahil. Sort of like the way Akash would say "bhai" would have on ASR!

I feel like I am in the glory days of IPK in that first flush of infatuation. The leap has given a new lease of life to QH. It is almost like watching the first 10 episodes of QH 1. The possibilities were endless. I loved Zoya a lot in those initial days. But I love Sanam too. Mostly coz she is so focused and ambitious. She has succeeded where both KKG and Zoya were unable to. Which is sustain a venture and continue to make it a susses. At least we saw glimpses of Khushi as a office worker and then a business owner. But IT graduate Zoya was never seen perusing a career. The progressive American Zoya was unable to succeed in that, mostly coz she was not focused. But Sanam out of necessity has become very focused and independent. She is running a successful business and wants to expand too.

Zoya has been sheltered and brought up by her adopted family and then she was in the protection of Asad's family. She never needed to work like Sanam does. Sanam and her sincerity is very heart touching and I am loving it. Her pyromania which she inherited from Ayaan Chacha is also quite something! She has shown that she can be impulsive and go off the rails just like her uncle. Her cleanliness and her focus she got from Dad. She got her tongue and her attitude from Mum and she got her temper and impulsiveness from her uncle. She got her cooking skills from her Masi Humeira. So she is definitely a mixture of all the well loved characters of QH 1.

I also love how I can see both Najma and Nikhat in Haya. She looks more like Nikhat and has some of the quiet and strong characteristics of Najma. She is a special one. You can tell. I like her a lot. Dilshaad has also changed. She is more reserved and not as strong as she used to be. She has seen a lot in her life and it is starting to take its toll on her.

Aahil... What can I say about him? He is impressive in his English, (kind of like ASR), has an arrogant attitude too, but beyond that I don't see a comparison, accept for the manhandling part! KVB is a good actor, but the way Barun sold ASR was with the intensity of his eyes and expressions. Even when you hated the guy, a part of your heart would be drawn to him. His words would be dripping with venom but his eyes would be full of regret. Barun was just brilliant as ASR, and that is why people loved him so much. I wonder if KVB can sell Aahil to us in the same way? KSG was amazing as Asad as well. He was able to make us love Asad. Not just understand him. Asad was so judgemental and sometimes very narrow minded. At times it was tough to like him. But KSG made us like him. So it remains to be seen if KVB can achieve what Barun and KSG achieved. Only time will tell. Being a good actor is not enough to sell a character. Especially when he is grey.

But so far QH 2 has not disappointed me. At least I am curious to know more. So that has got to be good!

Soup, once more, the journey begins.

Once more, we get sucked into it.

Hope, they don't commit the same mistake once more.

Sanam - is Asad with strangers and Zoya with those close to her. She is not a flower to be handled with care Anwar miyan. She is not a toy to be played around with. Both will learn soon enough.

Ahil - is like you said a coconut, which will need breaking, else the cononut is of no use, neither the exterior nor the interior.

Haya - Adds the sweet factor to this kabhi tikhi kabhi mirchi Saahil story. Hope she has a story of her own.

Dilshad - Last time she acted unwell to make a nikaah happen. This time she is acting well to again make a nikaah happen. She failed last time, so hopefully this time too. A strange irony for the iron lady of QH.

Anwar and mother - another Haseena in the making

This time too Gul's got the ingredients right. Hope it doesnt get burnt or remain undone like last time.

i hope u remember me ..i hv come 2-3 tyms b4 in ur post to cry my heart out..😳😆😆...i hv started watching qh again ...n this tym wid precaution ..not to get emotionally attached..though its impossible now..i hv learnt my lesson..😆😆

Sanam is perfect mix of Asya even hv some qualities of her other family members...😃..sj doing good job..😃

Ahil ..hmm he is good in his own way..😉😆

not sure but i guess qh2 ll be enjoyable..😃
