a very good story

Here is the third chapter. This chapter is dedicated to all my readers who find time to read my work and encourages me. And a humble request to leave your comments.

Chapter 3

As: "Ammi, Please listen to me"

Dil: " Stay away from me Asad. Whatever you want to tell, you can tell your Abbu".

Asad moved near Dilshad to pacify her but then Rashid and Ayaan came to the living area.

Both of them sensed that the situation is not pleasant.

Dilshad was red with anger and she was trying to move to kitchen to get water for Rashid and Ayaan, Rashid stopped her and asked "What's wrong Dilshad? "

She looked towards Asad and replied to Rashid : "Asad has a girl in his life and all these years he has been playing with our feelings."

Not to mention, both Rashid and Ayaan were shocked to the core.

Ayaan : "Bhaijaan in love I cant believe it".

Dilshad briefed about what happened and told them that Asad is in relation with a girl named Zoya Farooqui.

Rashid moved to Asad and asked: "What is all this Asad? Have you ever in your life felt that we try to control your life? Do you think that we don't care for your happiness? Then why Asad? ,why?"

As: " Abbu, do you really want me to be happy?" Rashid nodded his head and caressed Asad's face and said: "You have any doubt in that, beta?"

As: "Then please don't ever ask me to get married".

All the other three were shocked. Dilshad who was a bit calm then moved to Asad and asked: " Why don't you want to get married? You always avoid the topic of your marriage? And then who is Zoya?"

As: "Ammi I was thinking about something else and in between you asked me the question and I really don't know why I took the name. And I don't know any Zoya Farooqui. It is just a random name that was a tongue slip. There is nobody in my life and I don't want anyone in my life."

Dil: " Why Beta? We want to know the reason?"

Asad said in the sofa and remained silent without answering.

Rashid turned towards Asad ;

Ra: "We understand that you don't want to get married. We are asking you the reason and today you will have to answer and thats final, Asad" Rashid shouted.

Dil: " Beta, what is the problem?"

As: " Ammi, why should think that I should get married?"

Dil: "Everybody needs somebody in their lives to love them unconditionally and be a companion throughout their lives. Nobody can live a life alone, beta?"

As: "Love unconditionally? Ammi there is nothing called love in today's world. Everybody is so materialistic, and it is all a fair adjustment and we call it love."

Dil: " Its not like that, beta."

As: "It is all fake Ammi. Nobody loves anybody unconditionally now a days. What matters in today's world is money, status, success, and not love. When two people get married and live together, it is only adjustment and not love. Both gets habituated to each other and thinks that they are in love and cant live with out each other."

Ras: " It is not true Asad. You are wrong Beta."

Asad lost his patience and started to shout at the top of his voice

As: " Why don't you all understand. I don't want to get married. I don't want any random girl to control my life. I don't want any random girl to come into my life claiming that she loves me when I know very well that there is nothing called love. I don't want any girl to satisfy my physical needs and claim it love. And most important I don't want to bring a new life into this world and call it a symbol of love where there is no love and only lust. And I want this to be the last discussion on the topic of my marriage or else that will be the last day of my life with my family."

With that Asad went to his room and slammed the door.

All were shocked as it was the first time in their life that Asad had talked in this manner to his parents. Asad was always a reserved and obedient child whereas Ayaan was just the opposite.

Dilshad was in tears and facing Rashid told: "How did my sweet child become so bitter. What made him to think so? There has been some terrible incident which has made my child's life so bitter. And as parents we never understood that our child is in pain. The pain of a lost love is evident Rashid, My child". With that Dilshad burst into crying.

Ayaan ran towards his mother and hugged her

Ay: " Dont worry Ammi. Everything will be fine "

Rashid held Dilshad's hands and asked her to take rest for some time.

After Rashid and Dilshad left the room, Ayaan was thinking about all what happened.

Ayaan was not convinced that Asad has randomly taken a girl's name whom he doesn't know.

Just then Ayaan's phone beeped. Just then he noticed that there has been seven missed calls from Humeira and he has been disconnecting.

Suddenly Ayaan remembered that he was supposed to pick Humeira from her friend's flat.He called Humeira

Ay: "Hello, sorry Humeira Where are you? I will just come."

Hu: "Wait Ayaan. Its ok. Since you were disconnecting my calls I understood that you were busy. So I took an auto back home and I reached home. Dont bother. Are you free now?"

Ay: " I am really sorry . Actually I was caught up in home in Bhaijaan's marriage discussion topic"

Hu: " Marriage. Is he getting married?"

Ay: " No Humi. Ammi abbu are very upset."

Ayaan briefed Humeira about the happenings but didn't mention Zoya's name.

Hu: " Phoophi may be really upset , na? Infact even I was telling my friends about your brother not getting married."

Ay: "You were discussing about bhaijaan marriage with your friends?"

Hu: " Two of Najma's friends have joined your brother's company. One is Nikhat, Najma's flatmate and other is a sweet girl whom I met today, Zoya. So we were.."

Ayaan cut Humeria's conversation in between : "Zoya??"

Hu: " Ya Zoya? What happened Ayaan?"

Ay: " It is the same name that Bhaijaan had mentioned today evening that means he knows Zoya"

Hu: " But Ayaan. How is it possible? They joined today only. Moreover Zoya was telling that bhaijaan is quite senior to them and they may not be having any direct interactions"

Ay: "Is it so ? What if he knows her even before her joining the company. And today he might have seen her again. What do you think, Humi?"

Hu: "How can you be sure that even if bhaijaan has some Zoya in his life, this the same girl? I don't think they may be knowing each other "She paused and replied "or may be..."

Ay: " What?"

Humeira told Ayaan how Zoya choked her coffee when she mentioned Asad's name.

Ay: " It strongly feel that bhaijaan knows her and there is definitely some story between the two. We will find out Humi. But not now. Now Bhaijaan is very upset and angry and if he feels that we are behind him I don't know how he will react. Try to get her details Humi, but be careful. Since Zoya knows your and bhaijaan's relation, we should never let her know that we know something. So no direct enquiries. We will wait for the right time. Good Night. Love you"

Hu: " Good night love you too".

Asad was very upset. He didn't even know why he behaved so badly.

He knew he was upset since morning but such an outburst was unexpected

As: " Zoya Farooqui, this is all because of you. It is just because of you that I had to hurt my parents today. Why the hell had you to come to my office where there are thousands of other companies in the country. And why the hell I am even thinking about her?"

Asad switched off the lights in the room and decided to go out for a drive so that he would feel better.
