After much debating and reading almost all the posts on friday's episode, I finally watched the episode.
Even the formidable death could not part them. The last few moments of Asya's journey were beautiful. Together in life and death and forever together after death. The song was beautiful, performance excellent and death looked almost divine.
There Tannu, on your face. You could'nt divide them in life, couldn't break them with pain and could'nt separate them in death.
Life is measured not by the number of breaths we take but by the number of moments that take our breath away. Asya breathed their last, recollecting all their breath-taking moments ending with Qubool Hai.
Take a bloody bow - Raquesh, Surbhi and SHalini.
Dilshad - the hand that rocked the cradle, watched helplessly as her kids bled to death. Her legacy, lay dead, leaving behind their legacies for her to take care of. The past and present have taken a backseat, its the future that she has to protect. And she does just that. The grief and pain, will come later on, for now, she has a task at hand.
Asad - Asad sensed his ammi and slowly turned to give her one last look, pleading to protect his daughters. RV was awesome. His pain on seeing Zoya's pain, his helplessness at not being able to protect his Zoya and finally finding solace in Zoya's last smile. His last shot in QH will be forever etched in my memory.
Zoya - The look of relief on Zoya when she saw Dilshad with Sanam, her pleading to dilshad, her sorrow of not being able to see Seher one last time, and finally finding solace when her fingers interwined with her Mr. Khan and the last assuring smile to Asad - now we are together forever. Of all of Zoya's smiles till date, I liked this one the best. The divine smile of eternal togetherness.
Thanks Rajni and Soup. Now, I can watch season 2 without any baggage.š
And yes, looking forward to Sanam, Seher and their journey. QH Season 2- Bring it on Gul.
Had Great Expectations from QH 1, some fulfilled, many remained unfilfilled.
Now No Expectations from QH 2, would love to be pleasantly surprised or find satisfaction in "I knew it."
