Hi Gita, hows the week end?
So you finally saw the epi... like i told you that day i ended up watching it that night itself.. and since i knew what was going to happen and was prepared to see it, it wasn't so bad but still it was so sad , i didn't even feel like discussing about it.

And the worst part was as you mentioned in the post every one acted so well that it appeared so real and so heart touching. one scene i will never forget is the scene where Dilshad and Sanam stands out side and Asad and Zoya stares at them helplessly. Asad (RVs ) expressions were especially bang on and it was so helplessly touching.

I will start seeing S2 tomorrow but my heart is still not in it and this time even i don't have any expectations from it.. lets see if they have a good story to tell after sacrificing our AsYa and killing them.😡

Weekend was good. Didn't go out anywhere?
Had guests for lunch on sunday so was busy.
Wish the makers had used the last week to give us some asya moments and directly gone on leap, leaving asya death as a mystery for season 2. I don't know why they love so much of negativity.
Yes, it was helplessly touching. And Rabhi - You get drawn to their acting, they were very very good.

Actually, Kaussar, here in India, everyday there will be one news of such brutal killings where a mad lover kills an entire family or a someone cleans a whole family for property/revenge/caste/religtion. But in paper it was always someone and so it didn't effect much. But when saw that happening to a family we know, I mean a fictional family we have literally lived with for the past 18 months, it really shook me. Not for asya being killed, but just wondering how the survivors would be coping with such tragedies in real life. And it happens, Kaussar, worse than this happens. Not justifying the CVs or something, but its a sad fact of life. There are mentally deranged people roaming about in the society with no way to either detect them or stop them.

@bold - they better have a good one. They have demanded a very high price for this leap and hopefully the product justifies the cost.

And I'm glad you've watched the episode... anyone who has spent countless hours watching Qubool Hai, watching AsYa's growth, I personally think they should watch it and bid alvida to AsYa ... I'm still upset about the ending, but what's done is done and out of our hands now. As much as it pains me that AsYa have died so young and that too without getting the chance to raise their twin daughters, perhaps have more children and a chance to hold their grand children; all depresses me when I think about it. However I find solace in the fact that even in death Asad and Zoya did not get separated; they will forever be together in eternity.

Thanks.
I debated for 2 whole days whether to watch or not and finally decided. I was mentally prepared, but still the brutality was shocking. After having stuck around for 18 months, it was only logical the we should watch the end, however good or bad.

Asya love story - It completed asya's love for each other.

Their story got completed inspite of being incomplete
And it also remained incomplete inspite of being complete. They fell in love, they married, had children, they died together. A perfect love story with an imperfect ending.

Yaari, I can actually feel your sadness across the online medium.
Chalo koi nai, worse things than this happen in real life too. But it doesn't affect us since it is not related to us.
This effects us so much coz we have literally lived with the Khan Khandaan, every day for the past many months.
We have had so many If's in QH, add one more now - if asya closure had been in a different manner?

I just watched the last episode of QH season 1. It was sad but the death scene was not gruesome. The song was excellent and the acting sublime. I cried my eyes out, but still didn't feel totally let down.

ASYA were to ogether in life and forever united in death. They promised till death and now they get to spend internity together. My only sorrow was knowing that they both knew they were not going to be with their children.

As a parent, I totally understood their pain and desperation. Both SJ and RV were superb in the scene where they look at Dilshaad, saying good bye and also saying "please look after our children". You have to feel for Dilshaad. She definitely did not deserve this!!

That song "Alvida" was just heart wrenching. You had to be a stone not to feel the pain of it. But you also felt the hidden promise. This is not the end. Alvida was not the end for ASYA. Puri Hokar bhi aduri pyar ki kahani hain, ASYA ki kahani. A perfect love story with an imperfect ending. A love fulfilled, but still unfulfilled. A partly lived life with each other. There was so much more they could have experienced together. But it was cut short. But while it lasted, their love was unique and perfect in its own way. Now in death, they are still united.

Now comes Sanam and Ahil. Now known as SAHIL. Will they win people over the same way ASYA did? Will they get the final happy ending of growing old together that their parents didn't get? Lest see. Like TM, I have many unfulfilled expectations from season 1. I have many unfulfilled expectations from 4 Lions overall. (Since this is not my first 4 Lions show). I have no real expectations from season 2. But you still have some expectations of what you will get to see! So let's hope I am not disappointed!

Ending this post I would like to write a verse in tribute of ASYA, a couple I loved. From the theme song of Saraswatichandra, one of my favourite shows... This one's for ASYA...

"Rahe na kuchbhi daramiyaan, mithe yeh sari duiriyaan, milke bhi hain adoori Si, yeh dastan"!

G we have come a long way...and we did have a lot of expectations..which got brushed under the Kaaleen...but there were some which did bear fruit..
And the last episode was the make it or break it ..(for me).
And I did not want u to miss the last moments of ASYA...
And u penned it beautifully..
Don't know what is in store..but will start watching with no expectations...ki kuch bhi ho saktha hai...🤗

Their death was the best part of the epi actually coz the performances were top notch esp RaBhi's. There were no dialogues. Just the song and flashback of their times together which added to the impact of the scene. I'm glad at least their death was not rushed and viewers could feel for AsYa in their final moments which was not the case with the recent tracks. Abbu truth lost it's impact as it got dragged and Ammi truth, Zohu, Zoha milans lost impact coz they were too rushed. AsYa death was just right. It was heart breaking nevertheless.

I actually liked all the non-Tannu scenes. Shalini was also very good.

Goodbye AsYa. You will live in our hearts forever.

Anu 🤗
Its ironical that their death was the best part of not only the epi but of this closure madness. It was the only scene that made sense in this senseless massacare.
Dialogues or voiceover are not needed when you have actors emoting with their eyes, their hands, their fingers.
@bold - true that.
Somewhere down the line, am glad that all this has ended. It was getting repetitive with teh CVs not knowing what to show and the audience (the remaining ones) not knowing what to expect.
So, wipe the slate clean and a fresh start. Sad, they used asya blood to wipe the slate clean.
Would have preferred if they had shown asya living with their kids and some family moments and directly jumped to the leap, leaving us wondering what happened to asya.
After gudiya fire factory, the SM fire raaz could've played the suspense for round 2. But guess the CVs have something else in store.
Waiting to see what is it.

And yes, Asya will forever live in our hearts. There was something magical about asad and zoya;s characterization. Till date, I 've never fallen in love with any telly couple or bolly couple for that matter. Asya, first and most probably last. I've learnt the lesson a hard way.
