There was quite a change in Asad's demeanour when he came to know about Ghafoor being Zoya's dad. When he talked to her in the car.. he was all okay with her going out and meeting daddy dearest.. but later when they reached home.. neither of the Khans ( except Zoya ) were happy which was quite a contrast from their behaviour before knowing it. They were all looking at her with sceptical eyes. Then Asad blamed her for leaving Rashid all alone inspite of knowing how much Zoya had desired to meet her father. He changed his thoughts about Zoya's dad just because it turned out to Ghafoor.Even Dilshad, I thought was not happy with what Zoya did. But they can't blame her. I mean.. she met her father after so long. And according to me.. they did not care about her happiness that moment just because Ghafoor turned out to be her dad.
The scene where the police comes...
I dont think Asad was thinking rationally. He was getting emotional looking at his father being dead. But not once did he think about his own wife.. who met her father after so long.. and started hurling accusations at him.. without even looking at the matter properly.
I disagree because Asad was just thinking about himself and his family ( not including Zoya) and father he had despised for so long because of his own foolishness. He is blaming his own wfe who loves him more than anything else in the world of killing his father just because once in her life she decided to do something for her own self by meeting the father she had yearned for since childhood.
What is Zoya's fault in this?
I agree she was defendng him.. but she has just met him.. and it is obvious that she won't go against him just when she met him and does not know wnything of his past deeds.
I hated Asad in the episode. He did not think about her once. He blamed her.. and her father for everything... hell he says that Zoya has not changed a bit because she is her old selfish and careless self.. but what about him..? He thinks he has changed?
He was frickin' going to raise his hand on his own wife!
I dont think Zoya is wrong.. Asad is presuming things the way he desires them to be.
I wish Haider had stepped in and told everything..

Yes I agree with you...

And or more thing I would like to add, is that...zoya tried calling everyone's mobiles...but they all were careless enough to not be attentive to their phones, when they clearly know that their husband/ Abbu is not in a good shape...

And here asad calls zoya irresponsible while he was the one who was irresponsible to not attend the call.

Anyways thanks for the post...very nice

Good post.

I neither blame Asad nor Zoya and yet blame both. The last time Zoya was irresponsible she ended up getting married to her brother-in-law. She should've not trusted Wajid when Asad had given her the responsibility of being with Rashid who is unwell. She should've told Ghafoor that she cannot leave the house right now and will come a lil later. I so understand that Zoya was pining to meet her Abbu all these years. But when she has been given the responsibility to take care of Rashid in the absence of trust worthy family members she shouldn't have left him and gone. Esp since she knows very well what Razia and more importantly Tannu are capable of. So I totally understand Asad.

What I however fail to understand is that in all serials and movies nobody's fones work when most required. They work very well when they have to say just a silly 'haan haan' and get married to the wrong person 😆. Having said that Asad was being too impulsive in blaming Ghafoor. He was unwilling to think rationally or listen to Zoya. BUT most importantly attempting to slap Zoya was a BIG NO NO. Why was Ghafoor standing like a statue instead of opening his mouth and saying something?

I'm sure AsYa will understand, apologise to each other and forgive each other easily when they sit back and think calmly after all facts are placed in front of them after a few months of AsYa conflict.

Well all the above is purely becoz the makers are Hindi film fans like all of us and are largely influenced by the same 😆. We may ask a lot of questions and keep seeking answers all our lives and wish that certain things happened in a different manner but the makers will only do exxxactly what they want 😆.

Asad's reaction to zoya abbu truth needed an entire episode.
That should've been the focus for Friday and Asya clash should've been postponed for Monday. Maybe we will get a FB scene.

But kudos to cvs for maintaining Asya s character. Habits die hard and the episode proved it.
Asad has always been selfish. He has never cared for anyone except his family. Zoya was the only exception, and he feels betrayed by her.
Zoya has been selfless. She has always cared for everyone except her own self. Yesterday was the exception, she has done something for herself and the repuccursions have betrayed her.

Their clash has bought out their flaws which made asad and zoya what they were and why we fell in love with them. Our demons come out when we are angry. And that's what the episode proved.
As anu Said, if they sit calmly and think, then ...
But it's not gonna happen soon.

When I saw the promo for April 1st, (happened earlier) I had a wish scene in my mind and for the first time I actually typed it up and posted it! I am not a writer and so I don't want to call it a one shot but what you said in pink is exactly what I wanted to happen, so if you want read it.
I am not trying to promote myself, it is just I don't want to repeat myself on this post..
