There was a Thread that the DT posted during the weekend regarding the forum and how to make it a place where everyone could co-exist. There have been discussion threads that have been closed due to fighting among members. Lots of people were giving suggestions on how to help smooth the tension in the forum. I guess some of you guys never saw it 😕

FFs will remain in the forum for the time being. DT has informed us that IF will have a new forum FF Rule that any work that reaches past 15 pages will go directly to the FanFic Forum. I think that new rule is suppose to be announced soon in one of the Global announcements. Writers are free to continue posting their works on the main forum.

I think the intent was to give a place for all KSG fans to discuss Karan even though he is no longer playing the lead. Other forums have dedicated Appreciation Threads for actors who are no longer part of a show as well.

You guys are still free to discuss the show (characters and storyline) on the main forum.

I guess if you don't agree with the new KSG Hub and Rules you could PM the DT to open up another Open Discussion Thread regarding the Forum.

I didn't mean to intrude but it seemed a lot of you did not know what had been discussed and I thought I just inform 🤓

DTs - I feel that there should be a thread for just karan pics if you feel appropriate. But this is good, Karan can be freely discussed here. Also, those who complained that they don't like to go on the main forum can bookmark this link and avoid the forum.

From a KSGian perspective:

After being part of a forum for a pretty large time, and contributing so much it really does seem unfair that at the end they are moved to a single thread.

As others have mentioned Karan has been part of the show for 300 episodes or so, he has a huge collaboration to the show which does seem to be not given any importance as of now.

If everyone just takes a moment, cools down, and checks the forum after every episode not one post is made about or for the episode. Not one post about the new AsYa scenes, not a post about their interviews, no reviews, NOTHING.

Bascially the forum is running on the FFs/SSs/OSs, I have been visiting the forum every single day after the episodes and the way the posts were made before KSG left was pretty impressive, one after the other.

Plus, when pictures of KSG are posted, rude comments erupt why? we do not know ourselves, mind you some of those comments are from KSGians as well.

Karan has been 50% or even more the reason for what the show is today. He contributed all he could have before he left the show.

I rather not begin at KSG's contributions because than this comment might not even end.

As a DT perspective:

They created this thread so only KSGians will come here and no battles are going to be fought. Its a great idea and effort but its really not going to work.

They gaves us a place where in this forum KSGians are still welcomed to discuss about KSG.

A place where it can be only about him however its not being taken the way they intended it to.

KSGian POV:

this thread has hurt many of the fans because it does seem like he is being pushed into the corner when he deserves to be the limelight no matter what.

Fans who have gave so much time to this forum, to bring it to the top now feel like they are neglected and pushed to the aside because their favorite has left the show.

If the stories are moved from here than all the KSGians will permanently leave hence, the forum rank will go down, though the battles might be reduced

Anyways, point being this was a brilliant idea but it really come out to be as not a pleasant one to the KSGians.

I do respect the DT for what they did, but it just was not supposed to be like this. The response was not intended to be like this

I hope this idea is revised and changed and the stories are not moved from this forum.

I agree with what you say my dear. Unfortunately this came out as a result of what was discussed over the weekend on the thread the DTs made. Maybe we need to have more discussions where more KSG fans participate and give ideas on how to make the forum a healthier place to be.

Most people who commented said they want sub-forum (DTs responded that it is not possible) and that they hate coming to the main forum. I am guessing this seperate thread was the happy median for those fans who don't want to be on the main forum.

To address the issue of posts not being made for episode discussions -

I used to make them, so I can only tell you what I feel. And I assume that most people who I know who have stopped coming to forum for discussions will agree. What is the point of putting in hours daily, when in the end the post is to be closed because a handful of people take pleasure in sidetracking the conversation and making it a war zone? I for one would rather save my time and energy. This is the only reason I don't make posts anymore. I had even seriously considered quitting the forum completely for discussion, but last week DTs informed me that they are working on things to make this place happy again. That's the only reason I am still hanging around.

@ DTS - Sorry DTs for responding here and talking non-KSG. But looks like we need to have more open discussions on the weekend thread.

In the suggestion thread many had said that they don't like to come to the main forum as it hurts

Few even wanted another forum to avoid this forum

I guess many people were not aware of the suggestions given

DTs have made this thread after few people gave this suggestion !
