Zehnaseeb, Zehnaseeb
Tujhe chaahoon betahasha zehnaseeb
Mere kareeb, mere habeeb
Tujhe chaahoon betahasha zehnaseeb
O my good luck,
I love you beyond limits, O my good luck..
(O the one) Near me, my beloved,
I love you beyond limits, O my good luck..
: Zoya hummed to herself. It was late in the night. She was feeling very restless...Asad had left on an urgent phone call earlier in the evening, and now his phone was switched off...Of all the nights, she missed him tonight...she was excited...nervous...she needed him around as her blanket tonight...
Tere sang beete har lamhe pe hum ko naaz hai
Tere sang jo na beete us pe aitraaz hai
Is kadar hum dono ka milna ek raaz hai
I am proud of every moment passed with you,
I have an issue with those which didn't pass with you..
Such secret is our meeting together..
Hua ameer dil gareeb
Tujhe chaahoon betahasha zehnaseeb
Zehanaseeb, Zehnaseeb
Tujhe chaahoon betahasha zehnaseeb
The poor heart is rich now,
I love you beyond limits, O my good luck..
O my good luck,
I love you beyond limits, O my good luck..
: They were wedded now... She remembered every close moment they had spent since then..It had been five days...
The First Night...He had lovingly embraced her...respecting her feelings about her Abbu...Baat ek raat ki nahi hai, poori zindagi ki hai..he had understood...She had read desire in his eyes...yet, not a hint of disappointment...
Yet he had left no stones unturned to make her aware of their changed status...MARRIED...for life. Her heart skipped a beat every time she looked at him now. It had not registered completely...it was a secret...and a declaration that her heart hummed incessantly...when she was not eagerly anticipating her father's identity, that was...
He came to bed late, and she couldn't even complain... She had accepted his decision to simply support her in her quest...he had known that it sometimes overpowered her...
She would be fast asleep by the time he came...and he would leave early enough...
Zoya blushed as she remembered the morning Phoophi caught them together...the Shy Ahmed Khan she knew had metamorphosed into a passionate lover...for quite some time now. And now, there was no stifling his passion, his desire...his yearning to own her completely...
Her heart fluttered as she recalled how he had buried his head in her neck..that had been their first night home...he had even seductively suggested that he help her in changing...her face was red now...and her body restless...Where was he? He had no right to deny her him!
Oh! How she loved waking up to see him in her room...lazily observe him changing before her eyes...she felt like a princess courting a secret affair...
Zoya giggled in embarrassment: God! What was wrong with her? He was her husband. All this was natural and normal. Why did it feel like a woman was slowly shadowing over a child? A lover was gaining over a daughter. Zoya was cross at herself. There was no race here. She had not been asked to choose...there was no need to feel she had betrayed the girl who yearned for her father as long as she could remember. That would never happen...That girl was going to feel complete tomorrow...she was hopeful she would know her Abbu by tomorrow... For once, her Muqaddar was being kind to her...everything was going to be perfect.
ZEHNASEEB...
Elsewhere, Asad Ahmed Khan buried his head in his hands...He had failed...miserably. Nikhat seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth. Nikhat- the sister he had sworn to protect with his life; the sister who had given up her life for Najma's happiness; the sister who gave up her dreams and aspirations for the happiness of everyone around her- the girl who meekly submitted herself to the wills of loved ones...
She had been his responsibility- he was their bhaijaan for life- and he had failed. He remembered a time when Najma had been lost as a child. She had gone with her friend, straight after school. He had gone mad searching for her. But he had found her...and had vowed to never let that happen. And years later, he had allowed that to happen...to another sibling who had always hovered around him in silent admiration...Nikhat was different from all his siblings. She had been the one to give her love to her sister; the one to make sure her brothers did not fight...the one who wanted to bury her sorrows in herself, who had felt being a liability all her life. He had understood that about her- she never demanded- other than to be left alone... And when she had continued to become a bone of contention, she had quietly wanted to take her life...a weak heart...who could not bear to see pain in the eyes of her loved ones...
What had happened to her? How had he missed all this? Najma had confided in him about her doubts just a few hours before. She had told him about the whole story where she had slowly lost her mind...and now she was lost to them.
And it was all his fault. He had known her like no one else...other than Ayan, probably. And like he had accused ages before- he had failed to detect trouble...he, the protector had been completely distracted with his personal happiness, when his sister had been slowly snatched away... She was gone...the sinking feeling in his heart warned him that something very bad had happened to her...
He could see Imran and Farhan out of the corner of his eyes...Imran seemed to be in shock...Farhan must be devastated...They had wanted to keep all this from him for his happiness...
His happiness...that had hidden his sister's misfortune...
How was he ever going to forgive himself?
PS: This is Asad's and Zoya's POV as I see it. It may not happen like this...at the same time, that is...but there is a very good chance that Nikhat's absence will shift Asad's focus away from Zoya...his siblings have always been very important to him.
I feel Nikhat might come back in the show...since there are no articles talking about Archana's exit...
25- 15?...just a hunch from here...😆😉
