After all happen... both of them and the family...
finally settle in...
going through all the painful moment...

what is this new problem... he have to go back..

PART 9

Thanks to all the readers for your likes and comments... I have been very busy these days and hence not able to update regularly.. Hope you enjoy this update...!!

Zoya came back to their room and stood next to Asad who was lost in his thoughts looking out of window...

Zoya : Kya hua Asad ?? aap itne pareshan kyun hain ??

Asad turned around and looked at her... : Zoya.. meine apni resignation letter bhejatha kuch ghante phele... shayad kuch formalities keliye muje kuch din wapis jana padega...!!

The moment Asad mentioned about his travel, Zoya feared... She was so happy since morning .. After suffering for 6 long years, both of them could not think of staying away again even if it was for few days...!!

Both stood in silence looking at each other for few minutes...

Before either of them could speak anything further, Adya rushed into their room...

Adya : Abbu.. Mein ready hoon...chaliye...

Asad : chalo beta.. Zoya...pareshan honeki koi zaroorat hain... Tum araam karo.. hum kuch dher mein athe hain...!!

Before walking out with Adya, Asad who had taken few steps towards the door, came back and held Zoya's hand firmly... assuring her that things will not go wrong now...

In the Park,

Adya played in the swing while her abbu pushed it for her... There were many other children .. Few with their mothers, few only with their fathers and few with both...

Adya : Abbu... ammi ke saath ya daadu ke saath hamesha athi thi ...lekin apko bahut miss karti thi abbu... aap phir se humein chodkar nahin jayenge na abbu ??

Asad : Nahin bacche... !!

Adya : Abbu.. mein ab see-saw khelna chathi hoon..

Asad made Adya sit and he held the other side and slowly moved it so that she enjoyed the see-saw...After playing for some more time, Adya was tierd...So both father and daughter sat down on one of the benches in the park looking around at other children...

Adya : Abbu...aap itne din hum sab se door kyun the abbu ??apko meri yaad nahin athi thi ??

Asad did not know what to answer his daughter... But he felt he had to answer her so that the young child did not suffer any further...

Asad : Adya.. ammi ne apko bataya nahin ki mein kahan gaya tha ??

Adya : Abbu.. ammi ne kaha tha ki aap US gaye the.. aur wahan se apko koi bhi flight nahin mil raha tha.. aur jab bhi apko flight milega tab aap zaroor ayenge...!!

Asad smiled looking at his daughter...: Haan beta.. muje koi flight mil nahin raha tha... !!

Adya : Abbu mein ab apko jane nahin doongi...

Asad : baccha.. lekin office ka kuch kaam hain wo khatam karke jaldi wapis aoonga... Kuch din keliye muje phir se jana hoga...!!

As soon as Asad told that, Adya made a crying face and looked at him and immediately she replied... : abbu ek idea... !!

Asad smiled hearing his daughter's words...: batao beta...!!

Adya : Abbu... hum bhi apke saath chalenge.. aap apna kaam fast fast khatam kijiye .. Mein aur ammi apke office ke bahar wait karenge.. baad mein wapis aajayenge.. agar flight nahin milega.. to hum teeno wahan khel saktein hain flight milne tak... !!

Asad hugged his daughter... Very easily the child had provided a solution wiping away all his worries... He kissed her and took her in his arms walking back to their home... !!

Dinner Time, Khan Villa

Asad noticed that Zoya's tension was still seen on her face.. Rashid and Dilshad were happy and having their dinner... While Adya was having roti on her own from her plate...

Asad : Ammi.. Meine apni resignation bhejdiya hain... !!

Dilshad : Ye to bahut acchi baat hain...!! kya plan hain Asad Aage kya karoge ??

Asad : Ammi mein yahan kudh ki ek construction company kholna chatha hoon... "ADYA CONSTRUCTIONS " and he looked at his daughter with love and affection...

Rashid : Acchi baat hain Asad... Agar tumhe koi financial support chahiye to batadena beta...!!

Asad : I don't think so abbu.. I should be able to manage !!

Asad : Lekin muje kuch formalities keliye kuch din keliye wapis jana padega...

Rashid and Dilshad both stopped eating and looked with a shocked expression at Asad and then at Zoya.. trying to digest the new piece of information...

Dilshad : Nahin Asad.. is baar tumhari manmani nahin chalegi... Tumhe unhe samjana hoga... bas !!

Asad : Ammi.. aisa nahin hosakta hain ammi !!

Tears started forming in Zoya's eyes.. and she got up from her chair but Asad held her hand tightly stopping her...

Asad : Baito Zoya...

Zoya : Mein abhi athi hoon...

Asad : Zoya please.. !! and he made her sit down...

Asad : Mere paas abhi time hain wahan janekeliye aur meri beti ne is situation ko manage karnekeliye muje ek idea diya hain !! and he looked towards Adya and winked at her who giggled and closed her mouth with the tiny hands...

Dilshad : Adya ne.. ??

Asad : ji ammi.. Hum sab kal Visa office jayenge aap sabke visitor's visa apply karnekeliye... Is bar aap sab bhi mere saath chal rahein hain... Mera kaam wahan sirf 2 ya 3 din ka hain.. aur mera wahan ka flat ko bi bhechna hain...hum sab tab tak US ghoomenge... !!

Rashid : Asad... ye idea Adya ne diya tumhein ?? Mera baccha and he bent down and kissed Adya...

Asad : Abbu.. aap aur Zoya hospital ki sab zimmedari kuch din keliye kisi aur ko de dijiye... aur haan Zoya kal hum dono Adya ke school jakar unke teacher se bhi permission lelenge... !!

Without realizing that she was in the dining room with all the other family members around them, Zoya hugged Asad tightly...

While a satisfied smile was adoring Rashid and Dilshad's face, Adya was excited to see her parents and she started clapping... !!

After dinner, Asad put Adya to sleep by singing to her.. while Zoya looked lovingly at both of them...She remembered how each time she had avoided answering back to Adya whenever she had questioned about her abbu...

Asad put Adya on bed and wrapped her with a quilt... He looked at Zoya who was still sitting on the bed lost in her own thoughts...

Asad : Zoya.. kya soch rahi ho ?? abhi bhi koi pareshani hain kya ??

Zoya : Asad.. Aaj sone ka man nahin hain.. aapse bahut saari baatein karne ka manhoraha hai...

Asad : Mein bhi sunne keliye ready hoon... batao Zoya...

Flashback

Day after Gaffur's cremation...

Zoya wanted to return back to Faroouqi Mansion but Rashid and Dilshad had requested her to stay back as their daughter.. She had finally agreed ... As she went back to her room, she looked at the snap which was hung just about the bed.. Asad was standing behind Zoya and had hugged her... It was one of the snaps taken on their Valima day...

Zoya : Asad..aap muje itni asani se bhool gaye ?? Little drops of tears made their way out... She placed her hand on her tummy ... Humara baccha anewala hain Asad... Mein apko ab ye bata bhi nahin sakti hoon... Aisi kya galti hogayi thi mujse... ?? Abbu ye sadma bardash nahin karsake... lekin mein kamzor nahin padoongi.. muje jeena hain.. apne is bacche keliye... !!

She had a determined look on her face and took out all the snaps of theirs which had enhanced the beauty of the room and had packed it ... hoping that it will help her in forgetting Asad... !!

Rashid knew that he had to do something to help out Zoya since her exams were due... She had to now concentrate not only on her studies but also take care of her health...Rashid had also lost his closest buddy Gaffur .Though he was also suffering at the loss of his best friend, he knew he had to be strong to take care of Zoya and make the departed soul happy... !!

Rashid had got few good books on self help for the soul and he would read it out loudly with Dilshad and Zoya sitting next to him every evening and all the three of them would discuss abouit it ...They did get calls from Asad a couple of times but none of them was ready to speak to him..

As days passed by, all the three of them started coming out of their sorrows and started looking forward to baby's arrival...

Dilshad would take Zoya out for her daily walks and also she would accompany Zoya during the regular visits to Dr. Shireen's hospital...Zoya had passed her Final Year MBBS with very good marks..

Day of Result..., Dinner time

Zoya : Ammi.. mein aaj bahut kush hoon ammi.. Agar abbu aaj yaha hote to wo bhi kush hote ...

Rashid : haan beta.. Gaffur upar se tumhe dekh raha hoga.. aur wo tumhareliye zaroor kush hoga... and yes you make us proud !!

Dilshad : haan beta.. We are proud of you... Dekho isi kushi ko celebrate karnekeliye meine tumhareliye Gajjar ka halwa banya hain...

The moment Dilshad mentioned about Gajjar ka halwa, Zoya's thoughts ran to Asad.. It was his favourite sweet dish and she remembered how he had licked the spoon and had eaten the entire bowl of halwa sparing a very small portion to the rest of the family when Zoya had done that for the first time during her rasoi ka rasam...

Looking at Zoya, Dilshad sensed that her thoughts were running towards Asad...

Dilshad : Zoya.. ab na tum jaldi se khana khalo beta.. kal subah ka appointment hain na Dr. Shireen ke saath...

After her results, she wanted to keep herself busy and had started preparing for her PG course and she was lucky enough to get a seat in Bhopal itself... As the days passed by and her tummy was seen, she had become conscious about it in the university but her friends and professors had been very supportive and had helped her and made her feel at ease...Dr. Shahid was one of them who was her classmate since her MBBS days... Though he was doing specialiazaion in Paediatrics, he would drop in to her class room during the breaks to see to that she was fine ...He would at times pick up or drop back Zoya to her home whenever Rashid was busy...

Day when Adya was born

Zoya had stopped going to college since few days since her Delivery day was approaching and on that day, she was feeling unusually tensed... She wanted to keep herself busy and had informed Dilshad that she would be cooking lunch.. and without her realization, she had cooked all Asad's favourite dishes...Dilshad noticed all the dishes on the table and looked at Zoya lovingly...She went to Zoya and placed her hand on Zoya's head...

Dilshad : Tum aaj bhi Asad se bahut pyar karti ho na beta ??

Zoya : Ammi.. ??

Dilshad : Janti hoon Zoya.. aaj Asad ka birthday hain.. aur tumne aaj khana bhi Asad ka pasand ka banaya hain...

Zoya : Sirf unki kami hain ammi... !!

Dilshad hugged Zoya and kissed her adoring the lovely girl who had so much of love stored inside her towards her son even after all the mess in the past...

The next minute Zoya started feeling uneasy and looked like she had to be rushed to hospital ... Rashid who had walked in for lunch immediately carried her to his car...As he drived the car, Zoya was lying down in the back seat with her head on Dilshad's lap.. Even though she was in pain, she could not stop herself from thinking about Asad... She took out her mobile and opened the snaps folder and looked at one of Asad's snaps and ran her fingers on it.. hoping that would give her some strength ... Dilshad was observing all this and she could understand what Zoya must be going through... She had the urge to ring up Asad and tell him about Zoya's condition but she stopped herself fearing she might loose Zoya's love and trust if she did inform Asad ...

As soon as they reached hospital, she was rushed to labour room..

Since her mobile was handed over to Dilshad, she wanted something to make her feel his presence and had requested Dr. Shireen to allow her to wear her wedding ring... She looked at her wedding ring and kept running her fingers on it all through the 5 hours of her pain and finally towards the end of 5 hours, she had given birth to a lovely baby girl...

Dr. Shireen : Ye dekho Zoya... Tumarhi pari...

Zoya smiled at the baby and planted a soft kiss on the new born...after which the nurse took the baby away for the paediatrician's test...

Back to Present

Zoya : Us din meine apko bahut miss kiya Asad... Aur kamal ki baat ye hain ki apki beti aur apki birthday ek hi tareeq pe hain !!

Asad : Mein bahut kuch khoya hoon Zoya... Tumhare paas abbu, ammi aur Adya the.. lekin mere paas koi nahin tha...Kehte hain ki aulad ko pana sirf ma ke zindagi mein nahin ek baap ke liye bhi utni hi kushi ki baat hain.. aur meine ye bhi suna hai ki ek aurat jab ma bannewali hain tab wo aur bhi khoobsurat lagne lagti hain.. Meine sab kuch miss kiya... !!

Zoya noticed that Asad was feeling very low.. Earlier he was the one who would speak much and make her blush always and the years of separation had affected him a lot and he had become quiet and not his usual self...To ease out his tension, she looked at him lovingly...

Zoya : Asad.. manti hoon ki aapne ye sab kuch miss kiya .. lekin ye to nahin ki apko phir se ye sab mehsoos karnekeliye mauka hi nahin milega... ??!!

Asad was just nodding his head as she was speaking and it took him few seconds to understand what she was trying to tell and as soon as he realized it, a bright smile spread across his face and he lifted his head to look at her...

Zoya : No matter how many mistakes we make or how slow we progress, we are still way ahead of everyone who isn't trying !! and the best cure to mind is NEVER TO MIND what has happened in the past and to move on in life.. !!

Asad : Thanks Zoya !! .. hum apne anewali din ek dusre ka saath kabhi nahin chodenge.. !! hain na ??

Zoya smiled and nodded in a yes.. !!

They noticed that it was past 1 AM and they did need to catch up with their sleep to start life on a fresh note the following day with new dreams ... !!
