Friends , I am not from Mumbai but am prepared to go there and camp outside the Zee office with all you youngsters if you think the cause is worth it ! And I mean this dil se as I have been very constrained with the dictatorial attitude of the channels ..not just Zee ...others too treat the actors as well the PH like bonded labour . I have written about this in detail on many forums . This needs to be eradicated and Zee ( if they had any decency) would not have used this language to begin with to defame KSG using such derogatory terms.
The pattern repeats itself every now and then and the worst sufferers are the viewers. This supremacy of the channels needs to be tackled in a more organised manner ...on a bigger platform..
I am seriously working on this with the associated regulatory authorities and more of us need to do this .The concerned channel just close doors and carries on irrespective of the heartbreak that the audience suddenly faces ..they are too thick skinned to care . I have been through this ,,another channel another actor ..the effect was as distressing .All similiar measures were taken but no one heard our voices.
While things are worked out on the bigger platform what we CAN do is boycott QH ! I no we will never unite over this ..many reasons will be given the funniest being the people losing their jobs ! While I sympathise with the workers surely the onus for this falls on the employers and not us . Look at it this way ...it is KSG and us who secured, their jobs all this while ...why did Zee tilt the balance to effect this scenario !
Friends as a short term measure this is the only power we have ...boycott QH !!! Zee will rue their high handedness as TRPS fall.
An actor has the right to leave a show when the track is altered and it does not satisfy him...just as we have the right to change our jobs. He has the right to a personal life just as we have .Why do we and the CH expect them to work as bonded labour ? Most important who gives them the right to malign an artist by bringing out skeletons from the cupboard ...do the vouch they have none in their own ?
As far as Karan is concerned we have been with him since DMG ...we do not really pay attention to what occurs in his personal life...the heart has its reasons and we wish him well and do not require to delve any deeper into what we can not fathom.These stars live in glass houses and I am sorry for them as their lives are dissected so minutely.There is no point in being judgemental about matters we know nothing about and just conjecture !
For us it is enough that he is such an amazing performer ..we just need him on screen ! No amount of vilification is going to change that !
