It's not easy being a parent of a special needs child. I can totally understand Asad's POV as well as Zoya's...this is a common scenario where one can't blame one or the other party

You have no idea how happy I am that you posted this before Friday! 😊 And I think you know why!! Thank you for keeping my memories alive!

Didnt expect the twist at the end of the update...but I am glad that you addressed the issue in this seemingly lighthearted SS. What AsYa are going thru right now is the kind of thing that makes or breaks a couple. Though i am sure that your AsYa are strong enough to handle to anything that comes their way, it is enlightening to see their difference of opinions about the baby.

And you ended on a cliffhanger! How mean! 😆 But at least it gives me something to look forward when I log on to the forum.

Yes that abnormal blood test means higher risk of Down's syndrome- let's see how the couple tackles this issue. This is a real life issue and it'd interesting to see how two people with opposite way of thinking handle this. No Farhaan or autism here...i won't repeat that😃

Realistic, indeed! I would imagine them acting the way you are painting the picture.

This Zoya sounds almost the same as the Zoya in Faasle... but this Asad seems quite different. What a clash at the end! Still, another great story you've got me hooked on; can't wait to read what will happen next 😊

Bechaari Zoya! Why is her life always difficult? 😭

Wow, severe "morning sickness". Poor Zoya. Can't even eat anything! 😭 I loved how you showed Asad's emotions: concern and anger at not finding Zoya at the start. Then patience. He can be so sweet. How nice of him to take her to the pizza place! Poor Zoya cannot even eat her fave pizza. 😭 You portrayed her mood swings well!

Holy crap, she passed out and was dehydrated! HG (I can't even pronounce the words) sounds horrible. Imagine throwing up constantly. 🤢 One of my friends had symptoms like that. A very difficult pregnancy. Poor Zoya!

Asad's fear and preference for his wife's health over the baby is understandable. Most men can't bond with the baby until after it is born.

Asad and Dilshad switching their "bechaari Zoya" / "woh bechaari nahi hai" was cute!

It was nice to see AsYa sharing some light moments! A naughty Asad was a good treat! AsYa bonding due to the baby kick was also very sweet.

Yeh kya, another problem for Zoya? Bechaari.. 😭 I know at least 3 women who were warned about abnormal tests and the Doc recommended abortion. 2 women refused to do it while 1 did. The 2 babies were born absolutely normal. The 3rd one was depressed for quite some time and she was friends with the 2nd one and their pregnancy was at the same time. Imagine what she went through when her friend had a normal child while she herself decided to abort. She was devastated and played the "what if" game for some time. Thankfully, time healed and she now has a couple of lovely children.

The 1st woman is someone very close to me- my sister. My niece is a beautiful and bright girl, absolutely normal. My sis did have the amniocentesis though and it came normal. This was years ago. She had the amniocentesis at 20+ weeks and at that stage abortion was out. Her husband's reaction was similar to Asad's initially and then he came around. So kudos to you for raising the issue. 👏

Hopefully, AsYa's baby will be fine.
