had earlier written about actor Archana Taide turning writer and producer for her upcoming venture coming on Zee TV's regional network. We now near that Archana Taide gears up for the big launch of her Rajasthani show,Chorre Tera Gaon Bada Pyaaraon Zee Marudhara from 6 January 2014.
Archana along with a close friend has set up the banner Desi Fillum Compani and will launch few local talents of Rajasthan through this project. The promos of the show are presently on air, and will be one of the shows that mark the launch of Zee TV's new regional network, Zee Marudhara.
The entire shoot of Chorre... has been done in Jaipur, and they have cast all actors from Rajasthan. The concept of the show, we hear matches the real life story of Archana and her actor husband Ashish Sharma post their marriage.
The story basically will depict the clash between modern and traditional culture. The show will focus on the beauties of both the cultures, and will convey the message that both modernism and traditionalism go hand in hand.Desi Fillum Compani has taken up the onus of grooming the local talents via workshops conducted by known personality, Yashraj Jadhav, who has happened to train actors like Sonam Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Yami Gautam etc for particular projects, is working in the grooming process.
Director Gautam Nagrath (Chandragupta Maurya, Fear Files, Savdhan India), DOP Ravi Naidu (Chandragupta Maurya, Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai, Suvreen Guggal) have also been roped in as technicians for the show.
When contacted, Archana Taide who is seen playing Nikhat in Zee TV's Qubool Hai said about her maiden show as a Producer, "We are thankful to Zee Marudhara for creating employment for technicians and actors in this state. This will improve the poor condition of the medium here."
She also went on to say, "When I got married to Ashish and saw so many rituals being held, it was a shocker for me. We have illustrated similar happenings in our show where in the story will be on the difference in cultures. It is a slice of life, light-hearted drama depicting situations that happen in our day-to-day life."
