Dilshad left, but the only reason she did so, and even considered leaving, was because she knew he had Zoya. And even then, Dilshad always left a door open for Asad to come and meet/ talk to her. She never wanted to sever all contact with him.

It was Asad in the first place who tried to simplify the conflict by selfishly choosing she demand one person.

And regarding Zoya, she stopped him because Asad needs to let go of the resentment he feels for Rashid. He needs to move on. And if Asad runs to New York, leaving his mother alone with no suppose, then he's the one who suffers.

The problem with Asad is that he isn't always in the right. But KSG plays him so beautifully with such intensity that he overpowers the other characters occasionally and it seems like he is in the right.

I can see why Asad felt hurt. From his POV, it does seem like everyone left him. But from Zoya's POV, she's helping him. And Dilshad is being a little selfish, but remember, a woman isn't reduced to just being a mother, she's a human being too. She has a right to choose to do things for herself sometimes.

And for the record, I don't think Dilshad was right in going to Rashid, but I can see why she did it. And I don't think Zoya was right in originally letting Asad go, but she somewhat rectified her mistake when she stopped him from leaving.

This entire situation is deep with layers and coloured in grey. No one character is absolutely right.

Its not about Asad needing her more or less, it not about him having Zoya or not...Its about knowing that his mother was at his side...

@Bold :- I don't know why it is so difficult to understand why he has made her choose between him or that man...😲

"He has put a choice in front of a woman...What she wants to be a mother or a wife...It was Asad's desperate attempt... Because he is tired of fighting for his love once. He is tired of fighting for their rights. He is tired of fighting for everything he has...He is tired of fighting with them, whom wants to take away everything he has achieved...

He wants to know, Dilshaad Ahmed Khan is a wife or a mother, because this is a time when she can't play both roles...

She has been playing both roles since ever, and he has never been aware of the fact. He wasn't aware that the woman's tears he is drying is a wife too. He wasn't aware of the fact that she was a wife too when he has woken up by her cries of agony at nights...He wasn't aware of the fact that she was a wife too when he has seen her doing all the jobs to make sure her children were not sleeping empty stomach...He wasn't aware of the fact that she was a wife too when he has started to help her...He wasn't aware of the fact that she was a wife too when he has started to protected her from worlds ugly eyes and words...He wasn't aware of the fact that He has been living with the WIFE of Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan...

So, now he wants to know that when he choose his mother over his father, he was right...He wants to know if he is worthy enough, in the woman eyes, to be her son... He wants to know if she thinks after +17 years of his loyalty, she is loyal to him...

That is why he has put a Choice in front of a woman...What she wants to be a mother or a wife...

If she is a mother, then she will choose him, and he will know that he was right, he is right that she is his mother...

If she is a wife, then she will choose Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan...then she is wife Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan...And Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan has been right...He has been right by declaring her as his wife and laying his rights over her...

And if she is his wife, he has NO rights over her to stop her and that is why he won't stop her...

He has and will fight for his mother, But if she is stepping the "chokaat" of his home, as wife of The Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan, Then he being Asad Ahmed Khan has no rights over her, and he has no responsibility towards her...

He wants to be free from the guilt the he has borne over his shoulders past 17 years to not have been able to to protect his mother...He wants to be free from the guilt the he has borne over his shoulders past 17 years to for being the son of Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan, the man whom has hurt his mother...

So, now if she choose him, she will he will continue to protect her with his life...

And if she choose Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan, then he is free, from every responsibility and guilt that he could feel when she will come back wounded by the actions of Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan. Because he know, now or then, Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan will hurt her and he will feel guilty that he has failed his mother, and he has let that man to hurt his mother again...

But now, if she is going as the wife as and not a mother...So, when she will come back he won't have to he bear over his shoulders the guilt of not being able to to protect his mother, because she wonn't his mother all the she will spend out, in the house of her husband...

So, that has been Asad's desperate attempt to protect his mother, but as when she will choose to be a wife, a wife of Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan...Asad Ahmed Khan will be a free man...wounded, abandoned and devastated...But free, from the guilts and responsibilities that has borne over his shoulders past 17 years to not have been able to to protect his mother...Because she has been hurt as a wife more than as his mother...because she has been wife too, wife of Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan all along..."
---

This is why I think he made her choose, and also because he was DAMN SURE that his mother will chose him...poor guy, came home just to know that his mother has chosen the man who didn't stand by her from more then 17 years OVER the man who has stood by her and worshiped her since he was born...

About Asad move on...who said one needs to forgive the person who has wronged him to be able to move on...?? He was moving on, or at least trying to move on with his life, with Zoya and his mother by his side, he has almost forgot about what happened in the past, just to Rashid come and turn the small world he tried to build in nothing...

About Asad running away, we all know when a person is hurt, he/she is hurt, and we can't except them to think rationally about wrong and right...If Zoya was not wrong in escaping to Ajmer when she thought she was betrayed by the man she loved...Then neither is Asad wrong from wanting to escape from a place that now only represents the agony he feels...So he was never wrong is wanting to go away from that palce...It's a survival instinct of us to just escape from the pain or ignore it...

He has ignored it for years, now he just want to escape from it...

Red:- That is the only truth...So, we can't say who is right because everyone is right in their own place...But we can't ignore the fact that Asad has been the one who has suffered the most and has been let down by everyone when he needed them...No matter which situation it is, he is the only one who has to bend in others wishes...

This is one thing that upset me today a little. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Asad and Dilshad scene, especially when she was talking about him. The way she said "my son will definitely come, he is my gharoor" and he steps into SM and they show his face. I loved that whole scene. Wonderfully done. And right there is where we see the man Asad is, and more importantly the son he is. But, when Dilshad said those words, "he is my gharoor, and he will never let me bow down my head" it felt off because is she forgetting that a few months back she accused him of exactly that. She accused him of the same blood running through his veins as his father. That no matter how well you raise your child, the color of the blood never changes. That's the only thing that upset me today. And it is upsetting to see him used like that. When people want, they can say whatever crap to him, and when he does something they want, they praise him. When the Tanveer thing happened, I had expected at least his mother to stand up for him, to tell the world that her son would never do that. But she didn't. She sided with Zoya blindly. She didn't think to possibly question him, but instead embarrassed him in front of everyone. Said some pretty nasty hurtful things, and never once apologized for it. Idk, unless writers just forgot, but it just upset me.
I really did love the scene though. Her one line was the perfect representation of him. "He might be mad at me, but he can never turn his back on me." It's interesting, because everyone knows, at the end of the day, no matter who turns their back on him, no matter what anyone does to him, he will still be there for them when they need him. He will never let anyone down. He will continue to sacrifice and sacrifice, till he has nothing else to give, and even then, will keep going. I just pray one day everyone realizes his importance. All that he has done.

Red:- Yes...Everyone does that to him...and think "No matter what he will come and help me" aur "he will do and do what I want him to..."

Bold:- I hope that too...But I don't know when the writters will feel the need to do that as they are way too busy to make him bali ka bakraa...😡
