stop being "deja vu" dont blame asad for something that hasn't happened

Appreciate your stand both Ankita.M and starsinmyeyes...that is the spirit !!!
Emancipation of spirit is not controlled by geography !
There is enough evidence of valour in spirit and deed of women in third world countries ...discussions would require a separate forum ..but let us not forget Malala and Nirbhaya ..it is an endless list !

For me...it seems that they still have not come to 'term' with their 'relationship' where both need to discuss and talk about it before they make any desicion.

Relationship is always about both parties; communication is still missing in their relationship...sad but true...😭

I agree here about everything you said Shruti And also I take offence (Topic maker) that you're discriminating a woman's progressive mind and independence based on where she is born. I am an Indian, born and brought up in this country, but I am independent and progressive in my approach and living. A woman and the meaning of her values and respect do not change on the basis of where she lives.

I totally agree with you that independence and progressiveness of a women is not tied to a place she comes from but again may be TM might have mentioned US in general context as Zoya is from NY but I guess her stress is more on educated and progressive women.

I would not...but what I am trying to say here is that the writing of those 3 months was faulty...no one but Gul is to be blamed for that...

Secondly...The US of A is not the only place with independent, progressive women...their emancipation became a joke the day the wife of a former US President took him back...after all this escapades...I am more progressive than her...and proud to belong to the so called Third world...

And u are a mother Priyanka...and if u think a son choosing his mother over his woman means insult and rebuke towards her..I am sorry..I have nothing to say to u...if u saw the episode carefully, he wanted to stay when she pleaded...but when she mentioned his abbu needs him...he became angry again...apnon ke saamne plead karne se kisi ka kad chhota nahi hota aur naahi kisi ke independence mein fark aata hai...

Being dependent on someone is a sign of extreme courage...coz that shows your ability to show the world you find strength from someone else and are not ashamed of it

Shruti...I am not going to talk politics here and I have very high regards for our former First Lady...reasons were entirely political. So if you wouldn't defend Ayaan... why are you defending Asad? He did trade her.

I am sorry but the TM has always mentioned how Zoya can be this way or that way, or react in a particular being a woman from NY? If she only means an educated and progressive woman she need not be terming her as a NY citizen in the first place.A woman is a woman all over the world.

Whatever be the reasons...political or otherwise...the fact of the matter remains she stayed with him...infidelity is very difficult to get over...kudos to her she could tide over it...I couldn't and wouldn't ever...even if it meant a question of life and death...

But then I am not defending his trading...when Zoya accepted the shit he threw at her..she became equal party...I only refuse to blame him alone...I am talking about yesterday only...I am talking only about yesterday's episode...there is a reason I quit when Muqaddar ka khel happened..it did not agree with my sensibilities...and since I did not see it, it doesn't hurt me...simple...😊

Y should Asad only make Zoya his priority when she puts the whole world before him ! She was the one who left him on the nikaah day that led to him asking her to stay by ayaan Bcoz of his sister ! When he did that Zoya got angry that at him ! And now when she asks him not to go Bcoz of his parents isn't she doing the same thing ! Asads only priority is zoya ! But zoya has a whole world of issues b4 him !

I am an American...and a newyorker...this was the reason I started watching QH in the first place because apparently Zoya is a fellow newyorker...but, unfortunately it's a misrepresentation of an American which is very frustrating to watch.
