I am entirely team AsYa in this and hence I do not want to say a word against either in this scenario. But if you're accusing Asad of not choosing her, did Zoya choose him ? Did she choose their Nikaah over Najma? Going with him to NY over his parents? Choose to understand his POV in this or give him a chance to talk? NO. If she can have her own mind, why cant Asad? Is he here only to be of help to everyone and listen to every thing the others say and never be heard himself?

It is sad that you could see the NO to her plead, but not his smile when she said she needed him, and the plea in his eyes when he wanted her to just say SHE needed him, not his abbu.

Zabardast u take my words
And yes tab kya that jab soya sm family ka such such kar asad k with khan Vila
Jane k lye such rahi this DAT was as ad who dare
And yesss plz we are asya fans so don't create difference 😲😡

Rashid and Asad are poles apart, we can't compare a person who cheats on his wife and abandons her not once but twice and a person who is emotionally disturbed due to years of abandonment of Abbu and even loosing his ammi now for the same man.

Asad asking help from Zoya to save his suicidal sister may be a bit dramatic but it is not exactly a trade because Zoya choose to help him when she could have walked away from the situation, she was not chained from leaving but she was requested to trust their love and help his sister and she gracefully obliged it... A choice she made and in trade, underlying commodity don't have option to choose to be part of the trade or not and if such choice exist then it is not a trade.

Asad and Zoya both have flaws but they love each other, they are still learning to deal with their difference of opinions and deal with challenging circumstances but for sure there is growth in their relationship.

PS: I am not team A or team Z, just sharing what I felt and perceived about the story so far.

Secondly...The US of A is not the only place with independent, progressive women...their emancipation became of joke the day the wife of a former US President took him back...after all this escapades...I am more progressive than her...and proud to belong to the so called Third world...

And u are a mother Priyanka...and if u think a son choosing his mother over his woman means insult and rebuke towards her..I am sorry..I have nothing to say to u...if u saw the episode carefully, he wanted to stay when she pleaded...but when she mentioned his abbu needs him...he became angry again...apnon ke saamne plead karne se kisi ka kad chhota nahi hota aur naahi kisi ke independence mein fark aata hai...

Being dependent on someone is a sign of extreme courage...coz that shows your ability to show the world you find strength from someone else and are not ashamed of it

I agree here about everything you said Shruti And also I take offence (Topic maker) that you're discriminating a woman's progressive mind and independence based on where she is born. I am an Indian, born and brought up in this country, but I am independent and progressive in my approach and living. A woman and the meaning of her values and respect do not change on the basis of where she lives.

In fact Ankita...women in rural India who earn their own living by working as hard as a man...are more emancipated than those in urban India

He traded her off for someone else's happiness. He discarded her like a piece of garbage. Very soon he will abandon her once he knows that she is the daughter of the person who has wronged his mother. He hates Guffur...do you really think he is going to support Zoya after knowing her true identity? I really don't think so.

Exactly. More than in Urban India, woman in Rural areas play a more important part in the living and survival of a family than the man does.

And she got discarded silently? She was as much at fault...she returned married to the younger brother on the day of her marriage...all 3 of them were at fault...not just Asad...

And as far as Gaffur is concerned...we will only have to wait and watch...we cannot cross the bridge before we come to it...how can we judge him on something he may not even do...if he does...then we all will bash him...but until then...it's not the correct parameter to judge IMO

She did not say a NO for it. He did not trade her because she willingly went ahead with what he 'requested' her to do. Let me tell you, Zoya was already married to Ayaan, Asad did not make that marriage happen. He lost out on everything the same day too. He was the same man who went and bought her back too, and with full respect and dignity.

Well you're looking for a chance to thrash and hate Asad so you'd probably assume the worst even before its come to that point. Good luck to you.
