Khan Villla the deserted house :(

Why could Zoya not understand his angst ? This was his labour of love for his beloved Ammi and Tamatar which he struggled to put together brick by brick when abandoned by his Abbu whom he adored .Both Zoya and Asad have been tormented by the loss of their fathers ..yet there is a difference ...Zoya has never known her father but pined for him without being aware of who he is and what he is like .She has shut her eyes to his fallibility ..why did he never want to claim her ? She has never questioned that and given him all the benefit of doubts.Asad on the other hand adored his father till he rudely woke up to being rendered rudderless in this world. This happened at a very vulnerable age for a young boy barely out of childhood. From the warm cocoon of a loving home with Dilshad and Rashid as the loving parents he suddenly finds he is the man of the house with the responsibility of providing security to his Ammi and his yet to be born sibling falling on his tender shoulders. Ayaan too becomes his to care for...he has seen his father shirk all his responsibilities while he manfully shouldered them.He performs admirably in every sphere ..work and home. It is his discipline which allows him to achieve and provide for his family .He gives himself no time for romance .But destiny has other plans and he falls irrevocably in love with Zoya ..against his better judgement . He fights it to the last but succumbs to her charm and the intrinsic honesty of her personality. They are two very different people yet the basic integrity of their characters is the same and it is inevitable they would be together ta umr ..nikah or no nikah!
Now when his whole world has fallen apart ...the world which he built as a cocoon to shelter his loved ones ,he is a broken man ...his angst against Rashid is understandable as it is he who has been instrumental in all his losses and emotional trauma .
Zoya , loving and kind as she is to everyone ..we saw how patient she was with all in SM ...I feel she is failing Asad in this moment of his grief .She is on the right track but her words are piercing and hurtful ...aap ka dil patthar ka hai ..she of all had to know how soft hearted and sentimental he is ...has she forgotten his efforts to fulfil all her wishes ..and when all he asks in return is to see her asleep all night ..on the laptop screen ...meri zindagi ki sabse haseen raat !!! Those were not the signs of a 'patthar dil' insan . She heaped more pain on Asad in this moment when he needs her ... his eyes reveals all ( here KSG was the absolute master of his art) It takes Dilshad to remind Zoya of her responsibility ...that her phoopi had left Asad in her care ...and it is for Dilshad that Asad changes his mind ...all Zoya's pleas did not reach his heart for once !
So now we will have Asad in SM to take care of his Ammi once again ..to protect her from Rashid and his weaknesses .

In the process he will lose the sanctity of the house he built and where he dreamed of living with Ammi , Zoya and the future generation ..in bliss!
It is not only Asad who will miss Khan Villa .All of us will miss it too and it will take a while to adjust to QH without the smartness and simplicity of the KV environs.
Welcome to the voodoo atmosphere of SM with its bad duas and intrigues and drop dead illnesses ..where dead bodies arrive as gifts in refrigerators !!! While our beloved Khan villa turns in to a ghost house to haunt us !
