I am muslim and I didn't even know until now child marriages happen. What are they? How do they work? Children don't have finances or fully functional reproductive organs nor do they have the comprehension of love, commitment etc. This seems like a thing for fiction (like from books, and movies). Do such things happen in India? I know historically people are betrothed at birth or just really young, like for alliance, like Queen Mary was.

Continue I guess, but I really don't understand it at all like how the hell does this work in reality OR how it worked in your story.

I'm not Muslim neither do I know so much about Muslim but base on the research I did on child marriage in Islam, i found out child marriage do take place in Islam but girl can't live with her husband until puberty or until she is fit for marital sexual relations. Once they both are adult, it's up to them if they want to legalize their marriage or not😃
