Hola people... so we know what is gonna happen... Dilshad will have to face the toughest choice of her life... and we know what her choice will be... was just wondering does it really kill Dilshad or assassinate her character? prove that a weakling too? I would say, NO!
Dilshad has spent considerate amount of her life fending for her kids and fighting the circumstances she was put through by none other than the love of her life. She loves Rashid - Period! Its like a truth engraved in her soul and nothing or no one could ever change that. Rashid's betrayal didn't change it! Her son's hatred didn't change it! Her own hardships didn't change it!
Dilshad is a woman who faced adversities without complaining, with a smile plastered on her lips. She never let negativity of the situation touch her kids but then Asad was old enough to make his judgements and decide for himself and refused to forgive his father. Dilshad did forgive Rashid once before... she even accepted Ayaan. But when Rashid left again, he didn't give her a proper closure. And she kept waiting for him believing that one day her love will come back to her. And not to forget...for her Asad and Najma are symbols of that love for her.
Over the years of her struggle, it was this faith she had in her love that burned inside her like a flame of hope that worked as a fuel that helped her to carry on. Guys... faith is a very powerful thing and sometime to carry on you hold on to that faith and hope, no matter how impractical or baseless that might be. And Dilshad who have always believed in goodness never let her faith waver from her love. Rashid is her soul mate, for whom her soul yearns and while she carried on with life to bring up her children, she never gave up on him. Had she given it up... she would have died a silent death long time back!
On the other hand, Rashid maintained that he left her out of some Majboori... he told her he did what he did to keep them safe... in a way playing a sacrificial lamb. Also this time around, he is using the hold he has over her heart... and so when she saw him near death bed, that shook her being. She was ok with him not being with her but anything happening to him was unacceptable and unbearable to her. All the pains she endured because of him doesn't matter when she sees him in pain. And the same love of her life is playing the "Last Wish" card on her. Its an emotional trauma... a torture worse than she has ever endured in the past.
A woman who has lived through the mishaps of life, tired of the struggle, holding on to the dwindling flame, burning in agony of separation is now being presented with an opportunity to quench her own thirst whilst giving in to the request of a man she can never let down. A mirage in the dessert... her parched soul is being tempted and though she knows it's too late she's drawn to it. Her love has become her weakness... and is now eating her insides but she feels helpless. Yet... it's the strength of her character that she's agreeing to put up with that pain and is ready to endure more and face an alien world... live with the other woman... in her house... with her kids.
A moth is attracted to fire that ultimately kills it. That's exactly what Rashid is doing to Dilshad... he's drawing her close not even realizing what he's getting her into. Suicide is an act of cowardice but it takes a lot of conviction and strength to finally let go... and that's what is happening with Dilshad. She knows what's awaiting her is not a life of dignity yet she's falling for it. Drawing into the mirage when there's nothing more than the blazing sands awaiting to burn her.
A lot of people feel its destroying her character but look carefully, Dilshad has always been this. She's so weak in the face of her love that one call from Rashid and all her barriers come crashing down. And if we thought that her forgiving Rashid is an act of weakness... think again... forgiving someone who has abused your trust and broken your heart is perhaps the most difficult thing. Only someone as selfless as Dilshad could have done that.
Love and Hate are two equally strong emotions which binds one with the other. Asad burns in his hatred while Dilshad who holds no grudges against this man tries to stay content in every walk of her life. Dilshad's strength is commendable and one foolish decision can never change that. And how many of us can claim that we have never made any foolish decision in the spur of a moment while driven by emotions?

"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."
