A/N: Sorry it took so long, but I've been super busy and the current episodes kind of made me lose my inspiration :( I really hope the show picks up soon -sigh- Anyway heres my version of 'Qubool Hai' As a newbie, I can't send you guys PMs yet, so sorry about that =(

Revelations

Part 2

"Mr. Siddiqui, have you heard of the new hotel that ZF group hopes to build here in Bhopal? They only started the business 5 years ago, but the group already has 5 hotels in India. We've heard that this new project will be a big one." Ghaffur nodded at the employee who had made the comment and was about to answer only to be cut short, "Salman, haven't you heard? That deals already been given to Asad Ahmed Khan's company!" Ghaffur looked furious, "We don't need to deal with those people who would rather have a less experienced company like theirs. Siddiqui constructions have been the best in Bhopal for a long time now.

Norah looked out her window as the scenery passed by, taking in all the sights and sounds of India. She had only lived in India for one year, before moving back to the states to finish her higher education. Her parents had moved back to India 5 years ago, so they could operate the ZF group of hotels from the home base. Two years later her brother had followed, so he could learn the ropes before he took over the business. Now she was back with a degree ready to take a break before she started looking for a job. For a moment she wondered about him, the guy she had left behind. It was too late now; she had picked her education over staying here in India with him. He had been heartbroken; in fact, he had asked her to marry him. Back then, she had been too young to even think of marriage. Her whole life had been in front of her, stretching out into beautiful dreams of becoming somebody in this world. She didn't think she had made the wrong decision either, although she was sure she did love him. There was no use thinking of these things now though...

The event hall was beautifully decorated to Dilshad's taste and the food was from Bhopal's best caterers. Dilshad was making sure the last minute arrangements were in place before she went to join her children who were greeting the guests. She was truly happy, Asad had finally found someone who he loved, who would love him back and perhaps help lessen some of his childhood scars.

Zoya and Asad were greeting guests right and left and accepting their congratulations. It did feel great to share their happiness with the rest of the world tonight. Najma also stood with them, smiling at the guests and showing them where to go. "Bhaijaan, woh log kaun hai?" Najma asked looking at a family of five who had just entered. Asad looked up where Najma was pointing and then took Zoya and Najma over to meet them. "Mr. Aziz, good evening. May I introduce my wife, Zoya and my sister, Najma." The rest of the introductions followed, the family consisted of Mr. Aziz, his wife, Haleemah, their eldest son Aiman, their second son, Arif and their daughter Norah.

"Kya?!" Tanveer looked furious as she stared at the man who gave her the news. "It's the truth Billo, some detectives were here earlier, asking after you. They traced you from the orphanage where you were adopted by Sanjeeda Khala. They are looking for a girl who was left there, around the same time you were." Tanveer paced the floor, running her fingers through her hair. The orphanage? A Detective? Could her father really be back after all these years? She gulped remembering the short meeting she had had with him, which still sent shivers down her spine. Up until the age of five she had lived with Razia and her mother, believing herself to be the daughter of Razia's sister and brother-in-law who had passed away in a car accident, until one day when a man had come for her saying she was his daughter, and he had every right towards her. She still shivered remembering the short 15 minutes she had spent with him, after which, Razia's mother had quickly packed all her things and dropped her off at the orphanage.

So, Asad beta, you have quite the construction business going on for someone so young.' Aziz looked fondly at the man standing in front of him. He had the usual research done before finding the right construction company to build his hotel and the man's unusual background had struck him although he had made his final choice based on how well Dilshad constructions handled all their projects. Oh, Uncle Mr. Khan is very capable with all his work' Zoya beamed proudly. Mr. Khan mentioned you are from the U.S.? I also grew up there you see, in New York City.' Norah who hadn't been paying much attention quickly turned around to look at Zoya. Oh really? Abbu was born and brought up in New York as well. He moved to California to go to college and ended up staying there however. We lived in Cali all our lives though'. Soon the group was joined by Dilshad and introductions were made again.

Nikhat sighed sadly and Ayaan looked at his sister wishing he could do something about it. He almost wanted to tell his bhaijaan but decided that at the wedding reception would be a terrible place to tell Asad what was going on.

Nuzhat looked up and quickly pointed to someone, Imran Jeej...I mean...Woh...' Nikhat followed her sister's gaze and looked sadly at Imran standing by the refreshment table. Why did bhaijaan invite them here?' Ayaan spat out furiously as he started going towards table but was stopped by Humeira. Ayaan, he doesn't know about the broken engagement. It's not his fault.' Ayaan stopped and turned around to look at Humeira. I know, but I should tell Bhaijaan now. He deserves to know.'

Everything was starting to go wrong for Tanveer. It was all spiraling out of control again. Everything had spiraled out of control when the woman who had adopted her had died abruptly. Her clothing factory which she had left to Tanveer had been in short-term debt and would have shut down if there wasn't enough money to keep it going. Tanveer had travelled back to Bhopal to see if she could get any loans and had been turned away many times, before finally meeting Razia. It had been 15 years but somehow Razia had recognized Billo Rani' as she had been called back then. She had then agreed to give Tanveer the money in exchange for some work done. From there it had begun, the new relationship between Razia and Tanveer. In exchange for money, Tanveer did Razia's dirty work.

Mona darling! I mean, Mona Bhabi as I should call you now I suppose?' Ayaan said, walking up to where Zoya stood by herself, smiling as she watched Asad talk to some important colleagues. Raaabert!' she exclaimed turning around and smiling at him. Seeing his disturbed expression, she quickly asked, Kya hua?' Ayaan shook his head and smiled a sad smile, I don't know if I should tell you, especially today...' Zoya glared at him, Now you definitely have to tell me what's going on!' Taking a deep breath Ayaan decided to tell Zoya Everyone is upset, because Nikhat's engagement broke.'

What? Yeh Kaise hua?' Zoya said quickly beforing rememebering the Tanveer fiasco and slowing down. Ayaan quickly gave her the details. Why didn't you say something earlier? We could've done something!' Ayaan shook his head, This is what Nikhat didn't want, she didn't want it to affect this event. Asad bhaijaan has been through a lot, and she wanted him to be happy.' Zoya smiled sadly, Mr. Khan could never really be happy if he knew his brother and sisters were unhappy. You should know that by now Ayaan,' she said, patting Ayaan on the shoulder. I know, but at the time, keeping quiet seemed right.' He said, sighing. Ayaan, you don't see me as your real brother do you?' Asad said quietly as Zoya and Ayaan turned around to see Asad standing there. How could you keep quiet, you used to tell me everything,' Asad continued, his sadness over taking the anger. Zoya left at that moment, knowing that the two brothers would need to work things out right now. She was going to give Mr. Imran Qureshi a piece of her mind.

Meet in front of the event hall now,' Aziz said, quickly cutting the call before turning around to face Arif. What's going on dad, I think you need to tell us.' Aiman also joined them at that moment. My sister, Zainab, your Phoopi. You know one of my reasons to come to India was that I was searching for her and I just found out she had a daughter. Detective Sharma was on the phone. He said he has some important news to give me.' Both his sons nodded before Aiman said, I'll stay in here, look after Ammi and Norah. Arif will help you with this little project of yours.' Arif nodded quickly. Don't argue dad, let us help.'

Tanveer knew she had to run, she had to run before the past she was running from caught up with her. She also knew that she needed answers. The answers she had long avoided knowing that whatever they were, they could destroy her. Answers which Razia was likely to have, but would have to be pushed to give up. These were answers, which now would hopefully help her finally get free from the past. She finally knew that to fight for her future and the future of her baby, she would finally have to face the truth of her past.
