Edit unsavoury comments please .

As a senior citizen and a recent entrant to this QH Page I am horrified with some of the comments that some post here and the moderators and admins of this Page not taking any action :(

Hm..I agree with you to a degree - The actors personal lives have nothing to do with QH and therefore should not be discussed. Plus in the past few weeks/months there has been unnecessary maligning of three actors. However, wth regards to 16+ fiction on the characters I personally don't find them offensive. Frankly I don't think it's my business or responsibility to tell them what to/not read. At the end of the day those works of fiction are adult but to an extent so is the show and this forum. The ideal situation is to have an age limit on who can access this forum much like Facebook or other discussion forums but since that is not available I don't see why others should curb their freedom of speech and right to write what they do as long as it doesn't violate the IF COC and frankly a lot of the writers who do write this stuff do it quite tastefully.

Still, I do completely agree with you on the actors personal life point! 😊

Surbhi fans have always been like this since the beginning. I've come across several comments even earlier where they make such derogatory remarks about Karan to be more precise and also drag Jennifer into the discussion only to show them down. Liking an on-screen jodi is fine, but the obsession and craze is beyond the show and characters. In fact the show takes a backseat when it comes to the off screen segments and interviews which grab more eye balls. But honestly stooping so low is ridiculous. The comments were cheap and disgusting!

I notice the post I was really chagrined with has finally been taken off ! But a bit late as the damage has already been done .

The other thing I notice is that my complaint received proportionately fewer likes and comments in support as opposed to the response to the other post !!!!!

i have no issue with freedom of speech ..in fact have baked on it to post this thread ! But in this case this freedom is not used just to speak but to ruin lives and destroy the peace of mind of many concerned . This freedom can be gifted to people who can come forward with their true IDs and not shoot from behind veils !

There is no doubt in my mind that here the freedom is being grossly misused !

@delena90 ...maybe some fiction is well written and creative BUT there are others that should be censored and I am surprised how they escape the censors eyes . Also a surfeit of such fiction takes away from review of the serial ..and this may be the real reason we are on this forum I felt .

This forum is a lot of things. It is a place to discuss the show as long as it doesn't hurt the majorities feelings, a place to share fiction and to idolize and rave about the actors of the show. There is a gross degree of procrastination amongst youngsters to be on this forum and that is something I pointed out. Those who are not legal adults should probably be doing better things but the point then becomes who are we (collective we) to suggest this to others on the forum. It is their right to interact, read and comment about what they want and how they want as long as they don't break the rules.

As for the fiction - there are far worse things that children see and learn than reading a bit of sexy fiction.
Guaranteed that a lot of these kids have read m&bs which are equal to if not worse in terms of smut than what is on this forum. If there is an issue with them reading this it should come from their parents and not us. I understand your concern and you are not wrong - I suppose there is an age for all of this but my point is simply this that you and I are not the ones who need to make that decision. Instead of censoring a writers work it would probably make sense for if to introduce a system whereby adult material is not accessible to anybody who is underage. Anyway that's my two cents.
