How could I forget you don't speak hindi? My apologies!! The literal translation of "kebab mein haddi" is "a bone in kebab (boneless meat dish)", meaning something unwanted in between or kinda like a "third wheel" between 2 people.
Ohh, I actually knew what that meant! I'm so excited - my Hindi is improving.
Well, I understood it to translate into 'bone-in-meat" but I thought it meant a piece of meat that had the bone removed to turn it into a kebab meat cube. So I understood the translation but not the meaning. I had no idea what that had to do with Rohan or my story. I would never have known 'kebab mein haddi" meant 'third wheel'.
