This character analysis is based on his character portrayal over months and not today's episode alone.
Is it just me or does anybody else also feel that Asad's character is shown to be this weak, indecisive man who stays mute and bears whatever is thrown his way. He doesn't speak up, he doesn't attempt to make things all right either. He just waits for things to become all right on its own. I don't know but the image given by the CVs of his character is so poor now that it spoils the feel of optimism one is supposed to get from a powerful male lead. The show promotes so much negativity and conveys for all to shut and hope for your 'muqaddar' to favour you🤢 Such shit I tell you.

I really liked Asad but his character is irritating me solely cause he is unable to do anything at all. And above all this when he starts crying ALL THE TIME I get so irritated! I know he isn't a super-hero but he was shown to be some kind of a brave aggressive man who could even face the cops, if needed.

And to top it all when we get justification for such poor display of character by a famous quote from the ONE WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED- "this is how I wanted him to be", THAT just annoys the shit out of me.

I have a theory, KSG has a gr8 star power and a big fan base. This is the main reason why Gul started her story with Asad and Zoya and not with Ayaan and Zoya. If we could remember the initial episodes, he had the best dialogues and scenes. He was made to do things that his loyal fans likes him to do. So that at least show could strengthen its position among his loyal fan base. He was made to fight, punched the punching bag on name of anger(even though only in one episode,...DMG kinda..bingo!!), mouthed some of the best dialogues and had a great screen presence. In short he was made to do everything that his fans wants him to do but once QH got a firm stronghold, others character also started to popup and hogging limelights. Now we have this weird twist in name of maukkadar ka khel and KSG is only doing rona -dhona and yarning for zoya. The former usually appeals to the aunty's who based on their life experiences or opinions always want their mans to regret, feel their guilt and weep. Its kind of giving a satisfaction even though its fiction. The latter appeals to the younger crowd since it satisfies their vicarious need for love to have the female lead be wanted and loved.

What are you, some genius? How the hell did you answer so rightfully the plausible reason for such poor characterisation.👏👏 Yes, initially they made Asad seem like a warrior of some kind to justify KSG's presence and once the show got its hold, it started chipping in non-AsYa stories, which was the actual intention.

And how so rightfully you've said and I agree that the Saas-Bahu drama is for the aunties to relate to while the younger ones go crazy over a hot banda crying his eyes out 🤢 My intention is clear- I'm an AsYa shipper which means I also expect the leads to have strong character, you know, each one of them should be deserving of the other and should have the courage to stand up for the right and not weep! Too much to expect from QH?...looks like😒

Actually i am a serial killer😆.
PH purposely does not want Asad's character too strong n powerful. They know very well how much popular KSG is as an actor and they may have this underline fear what if, in case asad /ksg popularity take over the show. Same thing happened in their last venture and so this time they are playing safe. On the other hand to nullify any 'ifs and buts' PH are just desperate for ZoYaan to grow a fan base but until AAK is there, AsYa will still be alive and no one will give a damn about ZoYaan😆

And yes I always vouch for a strong male lead along with strong female lead. Who wants a sissy in one's life😛

😆😆 Then go kill or threaten to kill some of the Creative heads of QH please.
Nahi yaar they are using his popularity all right but they aren't afraid of him taking over the show. It's like Zoya is someone's favourite so they'll always make stories putting her as the hero of the show and since Asad is the closest character to the "hero" he has to be shown in bad light to ultimately bring the girl in good. I mean WTH shaadi se bhaagne ka koi afsos nahi hai isko, from that time she's only cursing everybody else for her situation.. First the two brothers, then Imran 😆
I am really really hoping for someone to make this female realise what blunder she does and what shit everyone else lands up in 😡

She has been a Musibat Ki magnet from day one. I agree than Asad's character no matter what the circumstances cannot be butchered to this extend. It is understandable that he mellowed down after all the heartache he went thru but that should not totally make him an absolutely dumb and non progressive man.

I am sure if he cantget things done his Prasad from the office can always do it like before. He just needs to instruct or did Billo also got rid of Prasad by entrapping him😆😆

@bold- Bulls eye! Men can sober down from an angry young man to a calm one (rarity, but still) but making Asad this phattu-type is horrible yaar😆😆

Asad as character has many layers and scope to explore but CVs are afraid to do that. A strong and powerful Asad will eat out every character outta there in QH.Thats why so much importance to wimprans, billi and haseena bi crap. There is absolute dwindle in Asad's character and am pretty sure this has been done purposefully. Remember this show is not about Asad and Zoya but a family drama... like really😕
