Wasn't Ayaan making some prophecy about a woman coming between them?
So is the girl reason because she or love for her destroyed their sister's life, rather than a conflicting love interest?
As I see it, even if Zoya stays back with Ayaan, it is not going to make the brothers clash without a drastic shift in character. If it is with Zoya's consent, Asad does bo have a leg to stand on. If it is against her will, that would turn Ayaan into a Raavan! That makes no sense, not that anything on this show does in recent times!
However, if Nikhat's life stood destroyed and Ayaan believed that Asad and his love for Zoya was singularly responsible for this, he would have reason to rise in revolt! If, in turn, he tried to harm Zoya maybe, then Asad just may have just cause to retaliate!
In essence, instead of pursuing an implausible Zoyaan, Gul should take the Nikhat route if her story is actually about how the brothers turn from best friends to sworn enemies! Zoya is not reason enough!
