I am not implicating that you mentioned that the hug was romantic, I was only stating my fact of what I saw, the hug was not meant to be romantic. Now whether the hug was ridiculous, I don't want to judge that, coz I don't know how I would react if I had to be in a similar situation.
P.S. If you watch the Crime Investigation channel, there is a episode BORN TO KILL? It is an eye-opener. You wonder can ordinary people be this wicked? Why are the victims acting this dumb?

I liked the precap hug for Zoya's sake. Humeira, Ayaan have their family around them to comfort and support them. Asad has Dilshad. But Zoya has no one. She does not even have anybody to go back to. It is right what Dilshad said to Asad in an earlier episode. She has nobody but Asad. So I am happy about that hug.
Before I say that Asad has become a guy with no brain, I asked myself, how would I react if I was in situations that Asad has been through, my answer is I don't know.
Why Zoya return the hug, she's human, she need that comfort hug. She was surprised initially when Asad hugged her, then she just let herself be, she needed that comfort. She's being beaten by all at SM, Haseena. Ayaan is quite useless in that department.
Yes, it was for Nikhat. Again I say as humans, there is this breaking point and that's what happened. Asad always reacted first.
Yes, they are going to be accused of infidelity. No doubt about it.
Asad and Zoya are desperate. Asad went running to SM when Zoya did not pick his calls because he was desperate and scared he was losing Zoya. Because Ayaan, Asad & Zoya knows that this marriage is not valid, Asad and Zoya did not think it wrong hugging each other.
Zoya is desperate. She is made to do things against her will. She is not malicious person but she feels miserable seeing Humeira hurt in the process. She is desperate. So she accepted the hug.

As I mentioned earlier, I do agree that this threat from Tanveer may not bring AsYa together. In fact Asad will try to distance himself from Zoya. There was spoiler out already, I think, which said that Asad does not pick up calls from Zoya and this would be a factor for Zoya's decision to stay back at SM when Ayaan collapses.
Again as I mentioned earlier, even if Asad will try to distance himself from Zoya, we have our darling Razia who won't let this happen.

So unless we are in the situation, it is difficult for us judge another person and even if we step into their shoes, we may not be able to comprehend what the other person goes through.
Remember, our character is not defined when things are going smooth. A true character is seen when we are in a situation. (Stress-test)
