But i have yet to udnerstand the logic behind how humeira is selfish and self centered. I have yet to be sold on that.

Agree with you Rosh, blaming Humeira was the last thing I expected from this situation..

@TM: I think you are misunderstanding between being calm, quiet and being self-centered. Humeira has been brought up in SM where girls have no right to talk in between elders, she is from conservative family, also by nature Humeira is shy, less talkative unlike Zoya.. She did not get angry with Zoya, she did not create scene in front of everyone and she did not get upset with Ayaan in front of everyone.. She took everything on herself quite calmly.. Ayaan did not even tell her about nikah till recently.. Humeira is not rebellious like Zoya by nature.. And when Zoya being modern girl did not speak anything in front of everyone, how can we expect Humeira to do so.. Yeah, she did not fix the situation because it was not in her hand at all.. Being calm, does not mean being self-centered.. In that situation ppl like Asad, Zoya could not do anything , and point to remember Ayaan did not consult to her before going to Asad asking for Zoya.. And suddenly Zoya, Asad came to sign nikahnama, and Humeira must have been in total shock and took her time to understand whats happening.. She is the same Humeira who was ready to sacrifice her love for Ayaan's happiness..
