Some of us watch QH for KSG, some for SJ, some for Vikrant and Ketki, some for AsYa and ArYa, even some of us watch QH for story, drama and angst. Each to his/her own.
I dont think any one of us watches QH for getting moral lessons. This is other thing that PH/CVs claim that time to time they give social messages and break misconception about Islam, which is very difficult to digest.
Now coming to point, Why on name of society, morality and ethics we always try to judge other people. What could to be wrong for us might be right for others. We can only act in a certain way according to circumstances which forces us. Whether its right or wrong only time tells and this holds for PH also, they have taken a route and whether they will reach pinacle or bite dust only time will tell. So why this judgemental attitude? Why we always try to judge others with our own set of morality yardsticks and thought processes? Asad judged Zoya character based on her clothes, zoya judged Asad character based on his over protectivness nature and concerns towards his closed ones and we judge these fictional characters based on our preconcieved notions on morality and ethics.
There are thoughts of trading, commodity, adultery flowing through the forum. from where these thought processes came in. Is this because of our own moral compass and set of rules based on which we want to judge others or just becuase we want to hate the current story line so coming with different analogies so that we can prove that what QH showing currently is BS and disgusting. If we are watching for actors/characters then we should not need to complain and if we are watching for story, drama and angst then also we dont need to complain unless we are looking for some moral lessons. We can criticise, bash and thrash the characters and stroy left, right and centre but only subjective to QH and keeping in mind their view points. Why to put ourselves in their place and judge?
