What about promises? Are you supposed to keep them?

This is what I feel about this :

We don't exhibit sharafat to get anything out of it. Being nice to someone, is not with the expectation of getting something in return. It is purely a goodwill gesture...sometimes the person at the receiving end of that gesture, might not thank you or might even go against you at a later date.

Nikhat showed some sharafat too. She should have boldly stood up and said that Imran had hurt her, and it is upto Asad to decide whether to send another sister with a man who had made an alliance with her while still in love with another woman. What was his (Imran's) sharafat?

But she did not. Because she cared for Najma, Imran and her brothers, in spite of her pain.

That night, Asad had made a promise- TO HIMSELF. That he would make sure he did ALL IT TOOK, to save THIS SISTER, if it ever came to any situation so demanding.

When that demand came, he had to deliver his promise..that is the only way I see this now.

What about the promise he made to Zoya? Never to let her go...He holds on to that...keeps reminding her at every juncture- Have faith in our love.

Not letting go of ever, does not mean only physically. She is there with him, every waking and sleeping moment...it is unfortunate that separation came, but he can only wait for the promise to Nikhat to be fulfilled, before he gets Zoya back. In the meanwhile, Ayan has promised him that he will make sure Zoya is welcomed and made to feel at home in SM...and he knows he will try his very level best.

Why I feel Asad will not solve the mess:

He has not even registered Imran and Tanveer. And she has had a twist so ironic that she has forgotten about everything else...And this situation can only end with Nikhat's marriage...

Going by viewer's expectations in Gul's previous shows...since I really do not have any attraction for a knight🥱 in place of a devdas😳😆...I feel Asad will be a suffering hero until the ambulance moment comes...so until Zoya is really in trouble, he will continue to be blind and inactive in his own sorrow...he was cheated too..by muqaddar. And he has done her a great wrong, for the sake of a life he had sworn to protect.

Logic and action: I expect it only from Gul's female leads..😆..at least for the first half of the love story.😉

The second half should be different.😆

Plenty of knight and damsel in distresss...

I feel by showing the male lead passive and weak for such a long time can cost the story a lot of viewers. I love strong female leads but I want a strong male lead to complement her strength.

I know Gul is a staunch feminist but are all men in her life really that weak???

He is not weak...just shareef...which is what every mother and sister out there wants. The forum is a totally different world, because many of the people who come here, come for the pretty leads- we are advocates of a love story. Not necessarily so with the TV audience.

They are the ones who use the remote... focus on a love story for too long, bores them..because they have plenty of choices..they need a maha twist. Unless U want to make and sell a show like YRKKH or DABH or BV- which is too preachy for Gul. She likes a bit of everything...and if she keeps the hero blatantly wrong, it is only to add to the romantic value.

All women love a woman wronged..and they want revenge...I guess.

It is not that men in her life are weak...the men in her life are quite strong. And she derives inspiration from them, I guess. Being strong does not mean macho or making the right decsions...it is the ability to accept U R wrong, and then make amends. All her heroes do just that.

On the second part coming now...

😆 Gul is best at keeping her leads apart.😉

Right now, Asad does not believe he has lost Zoya.

Twice he thought he lost Zoya...and both times he went back for her...

1. Mangalpur

2. Pre Ajmer.

Right now, he feels cheated too...If she had not left that night...if she had not foolishly got married..he keeps wishing.

But he knows deliverance is at hand...he can control this...when things get out of control, I guess we will see the Lion.
