It goes to prove that this whole premise with which the ZOYAAN marriage has been forced to carry on is HIGHLY CONTRIVED!! As per her character so far, Nikhat would never have consented to such a farce being conducted on HER behalf!!
So it goes to show that coz Gul had to introduce ZOYAAN and force this marriage to remain, she had to find a way to make it happen and used Nikhat for her purpose!! Gul has really butchered SO many characters to continue with ZOYAAN!!

The CVs are trying to show that Nikhat considers herself to be a burden on her family, due to the fact that her mother and father consider her to be one! Whatever character she had is being chipped away at because of her mothers cruel idiocy and her fathers sheer lack of guts and emotional Intelligence. Add to that the fact that the only guy outside of her brothers to be nice to her turned tail as soon as she showed a little spine. Like she said, she is fed up! She aint got nothing left to feel for other people, let alone herself!
The traps of honour and dignity, when they are treated like aloo pyaaz in the sabzi mandi, the atrocities in the name of Family, prestige, and other exalted must-haves, end up victimizing women!
Having said that, it does not mean that the characters of Asad and Ayaan have to be butchered in this way to suit the so called main line of the story!
There are so many positive and smart ways to both prolong the story line and make it interesting! The struggle between maintaining honour and dignity and being true to oneself need not take the path of stupidity and melodrama!
There are so many bright minds and talented writers on this forum that we should maybe crowdsource and come up with, say scripts for 10 episodes at a time and dump them on Forum32!
