Broken And Shattered - Qubool Hai!
Life whether in the real or reel has
never really been a smooth sail. Life
rather is a journey which goes
through bumpy roads and gains a
momentum and adjusts itself
according to the ups and
downs that is going to come on its
way. What happens when a dream is
shattered and reality strikes, what
happens when one is expecting
something to happen but something
else altogether
happens like a jolt of thunder? Life is
shattered and its pieces are to be
handpicked yet again and this is
what has happened in 4 Lions Films'
popular drama Qubool Hai on Zee
Television.
Asad Ahmed Khan (Karan Singh
Grover) and Zoya Farooqui (Surbhi
Jyoti) who were the epitome of
opposites initially but later slowly yet
steadily fell in love and found a
common ground in their
relationship, where their love for each
other was higher than their thinking.
When the two of them decided to say
Qubool Hai' (I Accept/ I Do) to each
other like the earlier two times even
this time
fate had other plans and it has yet
again separated the love-birds. While
the two this time around wanted to
get married for sure, the twist in the
tale came when Zoya and Ayaan
Ahmed Khan
(Vikrant Massey) ended up getting
married in a community wedding
accidentally.
Going by this we can say destiny is
surely weird and it has its own way of
showing its existence. If on one hand
Asad and Zoya are separated, on the
other hand even the newly found
love, love birds Ayaan and Humeira
Siddiqui (Ketaki Kadam) are
separated due to the cruel game of
destiny.
These four central characters of the
show are surely at a crossroad from
where they cannot afford
to take a step backward and
chickening out of the situation is not
an option since Nikhat's (Archane
Taide) life and marriage to Farhan
(Vishal Nayak) is at stake.
The current track in the daily soap
showcases Zoya living in the Siddiqui
Mansion and is angry with Asad and
Ayaan. The longing Asad and Zoya are
undergoing at the moment is visible
to the
naked-eye and even Ayaan and
Humeira's longing is not hidden. It
is as though the two brothers in
order to save Nikhat's impending
wedding have taken their respective
lady loves for granted. To
save one life four lives have been put
at stake and are going through a
phase of guilt, pain and tears. From
the audience point of view, it is really
saddening to see the four main
characters of the
show filled with angst.
In the situation one really cannot
pick sides. There are many If's and
But's'; If only Zoya had confided in
Asad about her doubts regarding
Tanveer (Amarpali Gupta) and
Imran's (Vikram Singh
Chauhan) connection, if only she had
not left home on her wedding day, if
only Nikhat was strong enough when
Haseena Bii (Nishi Singh) decided to
call-off her wedding with Farhan, if
only Asad
could come out with a solution so
that neither his sister nor his love
are penalized, if only Asad had not
left Zoya at the Siddiqui house and
so on... There are so many If Only' in
the situation but for
now the scenario has crossed the
stage of If's and But's' and is at a
stage where the four main characters
of the show are drowned in sorrow
and tears and the ardent followers of
the show are
cringing in pain and shedding tears
along with their favourite characters.
Most of the followers of the show are
not happy with the twist that has
been brought-in. Many feel that a
mockery of sentiments, values and
beliefs have been made with the
whole situation.
One ought to wonder what is in-store
for Asad, Zoya, Humeira and Ayaan.
The situation has got complicated
while one brother has left his love
under the care of other for the sake
of their sister,
the question is how will the families
concerned react when they get to
know Ayaan and Zoya are prolonging
a farce just for Nikhat's sake and Zoya
fully intends to go back to her Mr.
Khan and
Ayaan to Humeira.
Will the people in the Siddiqui house
come to realize that a marriage
without love is nothing but a
compromise, a sacrifice which Asad,
Zoya, Humeira, Ayaan are giving to
ensure Nikhat's future?
Further, Zoya who is currently staying
in close quarters of her father, Gaffur
Siddiqui (Tej Sapru), will she realize
that Gaffur is her long-lost father or
will Razia (Alka Kaushal) succeed in
keeping
this truth under the wraps until
much later? What will now happen to
Najma (Neha Laxmi Iyer) who has
come out of her safe cocoon and is
living with Haseena? Will Tanveer
(Amarpali Gupta) play
yet another vile trick to complicate
things further? Will Zoya's anger for
Asad reduce and will the four
estranged lovers unite with their
love?
All this and more would be answered
as and when the story of Qubool Hai
progresses. I believe What Is Love
Without The Pain Of Separation. The
Reconciliation After The Separation
Will Be Worthwhile'!
