Sadie,

I loved your OS from the show...strictly as a fictional story within a fictional show...😉

Because I don't agree with it...so it is a bit difficult for me to digest in the context of the show...😆

A. Asad is not forcing Zoya on a stranger...Both Ayan and Zoya have not denied that the nikah took place- for all practical purposes it did take place, with the qasi insisting in spite of Ayan explaining it was an accident... So I stand by his statement...she is by her shauhar- her rightful place...as of NOW...till the mess is sorted out.

B. Asad dragging her to SM..was not just to save his sister...it was dual purpose...

1. Set things right for Nikhat...since as Shireen explained it, this nikah has to be honoured...if not, the house will be the laughing stock...and Nikhat will never get a rishta...a truth in many parts of India and esp to an orthodox family like Siddiqui's...

2. Set things right for Ayan and Zoya...because there is no point RUNNING AND HIDING...the first step is to ACCEPT THE MISTAKE...and then work towards solving it...which is what he is doing

C. Asad not being able to forgive himself EVER..partly because he had to go against her wishes for what he believed was right...and it was right, actually...he was encouraging her to trust him to FIND A WAY OUT...so those tears...yes...for the fbs of the promises she had made and unknowingly broken...

Beautifully written👏...as usual..😊

Also wanted to ad:

Ayan asking for bhaijaan's bride...actually there is nothing selfish about it...he and Zoya created this mess together...all he did was ask his bhaijaan in a totally ashamed frame, his love and life which he had already breached by a twist of fate...Ayan is ashamed...but he knows his mistake along with Zoya needs to be rectified...he tried it his way by approaching teh elders in his family...it was not acceptable to the qasi...this was the only thing left for him to do...

haha noodle dadi i'm glad you liked it! Whatever points you mentioned maybe correct but for me Ayaan and Shireen have always been selfish and they'll forever remain one! and nothing and no one can change my judgement about them!

My main problem is why the hell are zoya's feelings not taken into consideration? who is she? asad and ayaan's personal property? who the hell are they to decide on her behalf! asad dragged her out of the house, FINE but he has no goddamn right to force his sacrifice on her. he can sacrifice because he loves her sister but why should zoya do sumthn like that for someone she hardly interacts with? Whether or not zoya wants to stay in the SM should be solely her decision because she is not anyone's property she is a human and is entitled to doing what she wants. No one can force her into doing something she dsnt wanna do!
