Agreed
I Disagree that People like Haseena and Tannu Do not exist in society , they are dime a dozen
People like Haseena exists but not people like Tanu as she is way above it ...a super women.
I Disagree that I would not do the same thing , Had I been in Asad's position !
I wouldn't do it against wishes of my love as if she is just a doll I own.
I Disagree that Asad is being a jerk. He already chose Najma's Happiness over Nikhat's. Now He has to choose Nikhat's Happiness over his own !
What about Zoya? Just because she did some stupid mistake he will sacrifice her against her wishes?
I Disagree that Shireen is an Idiot. With the limited amount of grey matter she has , she is trying to do what she feels is good for her daughter !
May be
I Disagree that Asad can handle Haseena BI again. This time Nikhat took an extreme step. Asad and Ayaan cannot take chances, this time. Will they be happy if something happened to Nikhat ?Wouldn't the guilt kill them. Also Haseena Bi is Najma's MIL also now.The playing field has changed.
They should have at least tried to talk to Haseena before giving up and taking this drastic step.
I Disagree that Nikhat is immature. She reached her breaking point. She proved that she is human. What she did is foolish and not the solution , but the suicide rate in India due to such things is alarmingly high.Of the half million people reported to die of suicide worldwide every year, 20% are Indians.
Agreed
I Disagree that this does not happen in Indian Society Indian History is replete with examples,Even Jodha was sacrificed for the sake of Amer and her brothers.
Jodha belongs to a different era, Gul's serial is set in progressive India where women are supposed to be treated with dignity that they deserve or Zoya will take charge to fight for the deserved right then why suddenly Zoya has been regressed to Jodha's era?
I Disagree that Women are not considered as Objects. What Gul is depicting happens. Not Only in Indian Society but Western Society as well. And More often than not society simply is an onlooker.
QH team has moral responsibility to not glorify undesirable practices such as women being treated as commodity, they should show more desirable traits to encourage society to act responsibly and be fair and logical.
L
These illogical things happen in society everyday !
I Disagree that we should judge an episode even before it airs.
Agreed

Now please feel free to disagree with me 😉😆
One of my Favorite stories
Once there was a woman named Kisagotami, whose first-born son died. She was so stricken with grief that she roamed the streets carrying the dead body and asking for help to bring her son back to life. A kind and wise man took her to the Buddha.
The Buddha told her, "Fetch me a handful of mustard seeds and I will bring your child back to life." Joyfully Kisagotami started off to get them. Then the Buddha added, "But the seeds must come from a family that has not known death." Kisagotami went from door to door in the whole village asking for the mustard seeds, but everyone said, "Oh, there have been many deaths here", "I lost my father", I lost my sister". She could not find a single household that had not been visited by death. Finally Kisagotami returned to the Buddha and said, "There is death in every family. Everyone dies. Now I understand your teaching." The Buddha said, "No one can escape death and unhappiness. If people expect only happiness in life, they will be disappointed."

Things are not always the way we want them to be, but we can learn to understand them.

I Agree with everything you've written in the post 👏 Finally someone talking sense. Not to say QH doesn't dramatize stuff. It does, because without drama none of us would be watching QH in the first place. But a lot of stuff they show is drawn from how society actually functions. We just refuse to acknowledge such things happen, especially if they are depicted in such a stark manner.

Love your post and totally agree with you. You're right about everything. Will be making a post about it all later.

While the show has been showing nonsense, there are certain things that DO happen. And this stuff does happen, I've seen it happen. It's sad but its reality unfortunately. I can truly understand what each character must be feeling at this point, even though the way they go about it is wrong, in a way it is understandable.

I am glad that we share similar POV.
The Drama is sometimes needed and sometimes its too much.
But then I let it go because of Dramatic License

I disagree with the above as Asad has every right to sacrifice his own happiness for whoever he chooses but he has no right to decide the same for Zoya. She has the right to choose herself if she wants to sacrifice for or not to for someone she does not even know well at all. She is not his property. What happiness of Asad are you talking about. No man will do what he did. God dammit she was gonna be his wife and which man will loan his wife to pretend to be somebody elses wife. What happened to what society will say after the loam period is over and Asad marries her. It's Zoya's reputation that people will point a finger at and Asad and Ayaan will get away scott free from it all since they are men.

What a load of Crap betraying a woman like that.

That's why it's called a drama lol. They have to go overboard with everything. But today, everything was amazing. The acting was just...wow. Each character breaking down, Vikrant, Surbhi, and Karan did fabulous.

Thanks a lot for very nicely explaining your point of view. We do not know yet what leads to this situation. So I will have to reserve my opinion on that. BTW He did not get himself in this situation. Zoya is already married to Ayaan as per society, zoya and ayaan...Everybody believes that . Zoya got herself in this mess. I am not justifying Asad's behavior. Buty given the circumstances , I am ready to accept it and wait till the episode airs.
Also women are betrayed like this everyday. She is addressing an issue and hopefully will ask society pertinent questions.
