Only when it comes to Zoe he feels he needs to control, and that is probably because of the very strong desire he has for Zoe. He will act on them not when audience wants it, but when he wants to. 😆

edit to add: the other day zoya pulled him back twice and demanded him to tell her his wish, but when he closed in her she was too hesitant and wondered what the hell was his wish😆

I am one of the few who complain about Zoya's immaturity at times (especially of late) or the light romantic scene for i prefer when they actuall talked and communciated while being there for each other - like Zoya telling him about her nightmares and past or Zoya and Asad scene after his confrontation with Rashid at the factory - but the thing we do not realize is that Asad had to grow up and be emotionally mature long before his time - remember the scenes b/w him and Najma when Dilshad has asked Rashid to come over or Asads convo with his mother after she saw Rashid 1st time after 17yrs or when Rashid did not come over after promising he would? Asads has a great open mature relationship with his mother- he has had to be the emotional support for her since he was a boy therefore he has missed the fun aspect of all relationships - thus when Zoya does stupid silly antics which we feel are childish they are actually very dear to Asad - something as silly as her teasing him or giving his jam sandwiches with smiley face are Asads fondest memories of their relationship😃
