Asads wish was weird. I mean I want to watch you sleep all night.
Don't get me wrong but is he a perv?😆
There was nothing romantic in that scene at all and honestly there's only one thing coming in my mind after watching that scene.
What was Asad doing in his bed while watching her sleeping? I mean I can imagine what a grown up man can do when the object of his desire is onscreen in front of him, sleeping but knowing its Asad I have my doubts.
Anyway he didn't sleep at all. Did he? Call me mad but its creepy as hell

I guess romance lies in the eye of the beholder (or holder as the case might be :)

My idea of writing a romantic scene might be very different but as far as AsYa are concerned, I think I can explain their behavior..which I have also done on my post on late bloomers

1. AsYa are indeed a very quirky couple and their way of doing/expressing is also very quirky. If one sees it in that context, I can see where they get their ideas

2. Because of their developmental issues, they are in fact late bloomers in the world of love and romance so I can cut them some slack for their teenage like dreams

3. As a parent, I can say that one of the most satisfying and peaceful experiences is to see your child sleep peacefully. That tells me their life is void of any miseries and they feel secure and safe. In Zoya's case, Asad has almost become a father figure to her. Yes, he is her fiancee too but her protector and guardian in life. I think that's the biggest significance of this scene. I might be wrong but I am not surprised given that Asad is first a protector and then anything else.

You have a very interesting perspective... I sometimes watch my kids sleep
and it moves me... I love them and am their protector... But I do it for a whole 3 minutes...
I stay up with them the whole night If they are sick...
But whole night Z sleeping and A watching...Just imagine how your body moves when you sleep... sab kapde ooper neeche... drool... Snoring... I would never want to watch my would be sleep.. it is too risky !
p.s. where is your analysis post ?

@bold - Well you brought them up - and speaking of husbands and wives on other tv shows where they stare at each other incessantly - either I am thankfully not watching these shows or they do not exist. If it's the former I thank my lucky stars for that.

@blue - pretty sure I mentioned some adults too. Refer previous post. And I don't see why I should call you crazy. You enjoy this...that's your prerogative. I am not here to change your opinion about a tv show. I found it pathetic and I called out the writing - I don't see this as cute, romantic, friendly, unfriendly or otherwise. I found it to be a waste of time because the scene served no purpose. QH is not about AsYa and their many missed marriages or whatever their love story is right now and I would appreciate it if the show got to the main point already. Dances, dream sequences (for the millionth time), cheesy one-liners and staring constantly into each others eyes does not make for good tv!

@purple - pretty sure I didn't say they need to jump each others bones. And I don't really care if AsYa ever do it or not. It's not like Indian tv is adept to show such scenes anyway.

I disagree - I think the scene served the purpose of showing how zoya has allowed asad to come closer to her . and asad watching her wasn't intented to be weird - I think it was intented to show that asad and zoya are so much in love that just watching her sleep makes him happy ..
and you say that this cheesy stuff and staring is not good tv - then what is your suggestion of asya romance ...
im sure asya passion will come soon but IMO im really enjoying them in this 1st phase of love ...

I was just trying to get into Asad's head and understand him...I did write an OS on this scene too. Check it out if you get a chance.Of course, I have never stayed up all night watching my kids sleep...a few mins yes :) but this might be the only time Asad does it too. Shaadi ke baad aur kaam zyaada important ho jaate hain- grocery, naukri etc etc

To begin with, i found it creepy as hell..The cheese fest has become nauseating off late and i need a break..The only thing i liked was how Asad looked overwhelmed throughout the scene..Kinda shows how he is still unsure about the whole thing cos it all seems like a dream..They have managed to establish the depth of Asad's emotions for Zoya and i hope Zoe gets to see it one day..That said, they need to stop with this candyfloss and teenage romance asap..I hate what they have done to Asad..And yeah, i'l flip if they have another abbu centric conversation😆 They have been super successful in establishing Asad's devotion for Zoya and the fact that he feels outrageously lucky to be blessed with such a fiancee..Can we move on to better things? I don want them to make out..I don even want passionate romance..I don mind even if thy fight..Just get done with this sugary sweet romance..Oh and the hair, lips and Asad's tendency cry at the drop of a hat is grating on my nerves😆
Btw, this comment was posted by MadHatter and i found it howlarious and super appropriate at the same time😆

Hatke Romance Scene 1:

Zoya: Mr Khan, mere abbu mujhe kab milenge?
Asad: Na umeedi gunaah hai, Ms Farroqui. Dekheye, mere balls kab se ghayab hain lekin meine umeed nahin chodi hai abhi tak.

Hatke Romance Scene 2:

Asad: Zoya, mujhe yaqeen nahin hota aap mere paas hain.
Zoya: Mr Khan, yeh script writers aap ko koi aur dialogue kyun nahin dete?
Asad: You don't worry about that. Just smile like a 16 year old at me.

I understand that teenagers, pre-teens and some adults find this cute but frankly I don't find this romantic. Husbands/boyfriends do not stare at their wives/girlfriends in real-life. Such a wish or action would land them in a mental asylum.

Well...maybe not the whole night of staring...I've woken up to sort of catch my hubby peeking at me sleeping..when he finally came clean...he said not to get mad...but.he thinks its nice to see me peaceful & quiet which is SO different than the day 🤣...
