for me I think no, this character is weak and selfish, if he was so in love with Najma why didn't he speak up, why did he built up Nikhat hope if he knew he was never going to fulfilled them.
Najma should know better than to get into a situation like this, no matter if you love him, he was in a relationship and almost got married to your sister, this is a situation she should walk away from. A whole lot of hurt is coming.
