Brilliant!

Asad has realised the depth of his love- so he is more expressive and demonstrative- like he told Ayaan- when you realise you are in LOVE your whole life changes! He has after all had a more stable life with a very loving and supportive Mother and a darling Sister to care for! Yes his pining for his Father has made him confused and angry which brings out his Angry Young Man image to the forefront! He has an issue with being able to trust anyone except the chosen few but at no time does he not show his basic compassionate and soft nature! Only those he loves have the prerogative to see this side of him and now Zoya has been encompassed to join this favoured lot! Asad is leaving no stone unturned to demonstrate this love! He is intuitive and realises Zoya is still groping for answers and till she gets her answers she will not be able to live life fully! He is after all a very astute man! His aim is to shower her with so much love and care to make up for all that life has doled out to her so far and is prepared to wait...

Zoya is a victim of her past too but as she has had a disturbed and uncertain life so far- adopted from an orphanage and though showered with love and affection by surrogate parents- she has this craving for stability someone she can call her own. Dilshad, Najma and Asad have given her plenty of love but Zoya is scared that anyone she calls her own is taken away from her so is afraid! This fear is making her hesitant to be more demonstrative and give with no reservations! She is still groping...and looking for answers to questions that have been her bane...Till then she will cover her feelings with her shayaris and loving nature!

Yeah tbh I never thought it was anything to do with surbhi's acting. I always felt it was Zoya. She's always been that way from the very beginning acts OTT to cover her emotions or things she rather not deal with. I'm so happy with where they are taking their story and not rushing it, it has a nice flow. Both actors a brilliant in protraying their individual characters and we gonna give it to Surbhi she brings Zoya to life and enacts her emotions well. Yeah I read some of the debates going on. I tend to stay away from it all lol. Tbh the writer and producers have said that this show is for the long run and they cannot do that if they speed up the romance, they know what they are doing and we should just be patient and let them tell their story as they have never let us down minus the whole SR fiasco but that had to have happen in order for asad to be where he is and also for Zoya to believe that it happened or else it would be for nought as we know how Zoya connects the dots easily. I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show. Exactly it all makes sense, Zoya needs to more to become the woman she needs to be as of right now she's still has the mindset of a teenage Zoya but that my opinion others can disagree also with it.

Very well said di! In fact you had explained this beautifully in one of your earlier posts also about Zoya's behaviour. And she does hold back, she has inhibitions and I feel that once she sorts out her abbu issues, she'll be able to make that transition from a young girl who yearns for her abbu's love to a mature woman.

i agree with you that we should give them time to get to the passionate part considering asad's and even zoya's emotionally challenged behaviours and we have to admit it that all hugs aside but one scene like the hook wala scene and it literally burns our tv screens 😆

Thanks Ranz. Very well said. Yes, Asad will have to take the lead but very gradually...Zoya will take time to come out of her shell but eventually with Asad's help and after overcoming her abbu issues, she will be at par😊
