for us Eid starts after the sighting of the eid chand... everyone rushes to the bazaars to grab themselves the last of the accessories left for eid...that includes a hell lot ov stuff...mehndi to begin with, bangles, jewelry, shoes, etcetra etcetra... sleep is impossible after that...we usually gather at one place, all the relatives i.e.

the next morning the TAYARIZ start after the Fajr prayer... ofco eid'z prayer after the sweets... then comes the next part giving and taking...eidi i.e... the best part for the young ones... the rest of the day is followed by aniyan janiyan of the guests... the evening is lavishly spent outdoors, enjoying, partying and fiesta-ing... that goes on for the next two days tooo... in the end moma comes to your messy room to explode the bomb on your peaceful funloving existence... by saying...TOMORROWS COLLEGE BACHEA!!!!!

I live in the UK, for me, right now I'm about to head off to apply mendhi with loads of other people!

Tomorrow we'll wake up, help in the kitchen, pray and then get dressed and celebrate with all our friends and family! We all get together at a hall and celebrate there!

I celebrate Eid by eating something in the morning, then go to Eid Namaaz, then go to cousins house and drink Sheer Korma, give Eidis, and get Eidis 😆 , then we come home and eat dinner. 😳
