To be honest, I am not even subscribed to Zee TV. (coutesy to a family member. Gah!) My only means of watching it is through the internet.
I really wish Zee TV would understand that half of their audience is on the net!

good post!! More and more people like us want to see things Online or lets say on our consumption devices whenever we have some free time. Not everyone has TV / TIME /ZEE in their houses but we do want to see Qubool hai so we reach to the video sharing sites like youtube to watch it.

I am more puzzled with why they need to hire people and pay them to block their own revenue lolzz they can even Upload it after 24 hours but let people enjoy the amazing show they have made :)

It makes no sense to block the episodes. There are so many other sites too and its not preventing anyone from watching. I'd like to know the exact reason for the block.

Coming to the actual topic.

What is "high-class realism"? Does reality change from person to person? The director shows some highly improbable scenes and expects no one to react and consider it as creative liberty? That is so not done.
Masses. The dictionary's meaning for the word is "A coherent, typically large body of matter with no definite shape." So any collective group becomes masses. Then we should, we can and we will question everything that's going on. That statement is an example of bad PR skills.

I think we are a "masses" itself. We are the online watchers a d we should be taken into account as well cause I'm pretty sure if we are measured against the tv watchers we would definitely win. There are more of us watching online cause we watch one scene 10 times where as on tv you only watch it once.

Hopefully they realize what a force we are and find a way to cater to us and in the process make money from it.

Cara.. this is an absolutely wonderful post.. The so called TRP masses are actually a few in India who watch the show at the time it airs and they actually represent perhaps 1/3 rd of actual viewership.. because even in India many watch shows online when they get time.. And TRP is not calculated among the viewership abroad in other countries, who watch it as it airs.. But all these people makes a show successful... and these days everything is being advertised through internet as well.. So its not that they cannot earn any money through internet.. they must be but they would not acknowledge it.

And if we think it in another way take the example of the Gold awards... those who voted and made the actors, the show and the channel successful did it through internet right.. and the channel in turn garnered a lot of advertisements and profit through the awards itself.. but indirectly who helped? the internet crowd.. so its not only those few who would watch the awards on time on 28th when it airs in India who really will make the awards successful.

I think you should post this on F32 or ZEE website.😊
