Hey!!
I know its a long time since I was last here ...but I am here now!Did I tell you that you are a Freaking Awesum writer!!!!I loved all the chapters..and i won't be kidding when I tell you that I am dying for more!!!
As Asad scoured the island to find something edible, his mind spun with Zoya's words. He wasn't mad at her, how could he be when she was right? He was feeling her up in his sleep. How could he have done that? What she must be thinking of him now made him sulk with the guilt. What would have happened if she didn't wake up? He rubbed his face in his hands.
His mind wandered more to something else he didn't want to think about. The idea of them being on this isolated island with no food, drinking water or chance of being rescued. There was no one who would know they were missing. He guessed eventually someone might realize the boat was two passengers short but when would that be? He didn't want to voice his fears out loud but there was a great possibility of them never being found and dying on this island. Dehydration, malnourishment, you name it, he was definitely worried.
His search for food proved futile and he walked back defeated to the clearing of the beach where he found Zoya pacing back and forth, her brows furrowed in concentration and chewing on her fingernails. She released her nails as he approached but he stopped before getting any closer. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. He sat under a tree far away as possible from her and made tracks in the sand next to him. Wired and on end, he got up almost right after he sat down and marched off into the forested area again to find leaves and wood that he could use for a fire. He found some driftwood some yards away and picked up a couple pieces as well as the fallen leaves of a palm tree. If he could use the rocks to create a fire like he'd seen in a documentary, he could keep them warm and if a plane or anything came by there was a great chance that they could get rescued if someone saw the fire.
He brought his finds back to the beach and started piling some of the wood and leaves together putting some aside for later in case rain fell and washed out their efforts. He scoured his pockets hoping that his lighter was there and not on the ship or worse floating in the ocean. He breathed a sigh of relief as his fingers curled around the small lighter. There wasn't full gas in the lighter but what was there would last if he used it wisely.
He cupped his hand around the lighter and when the small flame burst forward, he set the leaves alight, blowing on it a little to spread the fire around. He decided that he'd use the day to look around some more and see what he could gather for them. His mouth tasted like cardboard so he'd look for some tree twigs, the sap being beneficial for the teeth, would help keep it clean and prevent damage. He walked to the edge of the water and took some sea water into his palm and gargled it in his mouth rinsing away the awful taste and cleaning away the cardboard taste.
He turned and found Zoya right beside him following suit. She looked at him like she wanted to say something but he turned away and walked towards the forest leaving her there. He didn't realize she was a determined little thing. She came up behind him and grabbed onto his forearm halting his even stride. "Asad?" She asked in a small voice. "Please just . . . please just talk to me." He hung his head. He couldn't look at her after what he did so he just shook her hand off him and walked away.
ZOYA
Zoya's eyes filled with unshed tears as she watched Asad walk away from her again. Trapped on this lonely island and she felt all alone now all because she had such a big mouth. She didn't blame him for his silence. After the way she'd spoken to him, she felt he was justified in his reaction. She sank to the ground in the wet sand as the waves crashed in against her and she cried. They were probably going to die here and she would die all alone.
She sat there not knowing how long. Her legs felt like jelly and she almost fell back down as she stood up shaking her head to clear it. Her head felt fuzzy and her throat felt parched. Her stomach hurt terribly. The sun bore down on her and she felt like she was spinning then nothing but blackness.
ASAD
Asad had lucked out. He'd found a clear pond deep behind the cluster of trees and used an old coconut shell to fill up water for him and Zoya. He even found an old log cabin that wasn't in great shape for habitation but there were supplies that they could use. He'd even found a tree with sap oozing and used his pocket knife to cut off some low hanging twigs for them to clean their teeth with.
Shell in hand, he cleared the trees looking for Zoya. He couldn't see her anywhere and he started to panic. Just then when he thought she must have ventured into the water and downed, he saw the outline of a body lying near the shoreline. Oh God, was she dead? He ran towards her as quick as he could and rested the coconut shell down gingerly, he lifted her into his arms and took the water shell and placed it against her lips letting the water trickle into her mouth. Her face twitched, a good sign and then she started drinking.
She drank with extreme thirst and he thanked God that she woke up. As scary as it was being on this island, the thought of being here alone was even more daunting. Zoya slowly opened her eyes and Asad smiled widely as she breathed evenly and regained her consciousness fully. Then the events of earlier came back to him and he sat her up and moved away.
He sat in the sand a little way from her and looked away. "Are you okay?" He asked softly, his eyes averted. He heard a broken sound before he could hear the loud sobbing coming from her. He looked at her then and saw her clutching her chest and crying loud, broken sobs as she looked at him. He wanted to comfort her but was afraid of his reaction. He felt helpless. Then she abruptly launched herself across the distance and threw herself into his arms. He caught her almost falling back at the impact. He supported her weight as they both sat in the sand while she cried. Her hands wrapped securely around his neck in a vise grip and she clutched him so close her nails were almost digging into his flesh through his shirt.
"Zoya?" He started softly his hands held wide, he wasn't sure what to do. The obvious thing would be to wrap his arms around her and comfort her like she wanted but he couldn't do it. She leaned back, tear marks streaked down her face. "Zoya . . . I . . ." He started but was cut short when she leaned forward and pressed her lips against his. She wrapped her arms around him, her lips seeking answer from his. Her tongue licked across the seam of his closed lips and that move made him gasp in surprise and she pressed her advantage, taking his mouth with such a fierce passion that Asad felt helpless not to respond.
He wrapped his hands around her and crushed her tightly to him rolling them so he pressed her into the sand. She pushed his shirt upwards and over his head as her hands touched him all over. She pressed small kisses to his exposed chest and lifted her top over her head flinging it into the sand.
Soon there were clothes strewn all over the beach as their bodies twined together and they gave into a passion that neither of them realized had built up and as Asad looked down into her eyes and the glazed desire that filled her gaze he prayed she didn't regret this later . . .
Okay I know this was a kinda short update. Don't kill me. I'll update the next chapter sooner than I did this one 😆 And it will be a longer update 😃
