I really had hope that the story would move forward, but it seems stuck.
Every time they are showing a scene of AsYa I keep thinking is this the moment Tanveer will come in? Is this where we see her ridiculous fake eye in the background doing some spy work? Is this where she is going to try to kill Zoya AGAIN, and no-one will notice because everyone is selectively blind? Is this where we once again have to see her talking to herself like a mad woman, and smirking like an evil witch?š„±
For me the AsYa track is not the AsYa track at all, it is Tanveer's track! I guess the story is moving forward with Tanveer's plan!š„±
On the other hand I am loving the AyRa track.
Other than Razia forcing Ayaan to marry Humeira (which is bad) etc. it isn't as illogical as the AsYa track. Even Humeira losing her memory seems reasonable.
There is something endearing about the couple. There is genuine affection and trust between Humeira and Ayaan. Yes he doesn't love her, or hasn't realised it, but there is this seemingly unbreakable bond between the two, and I love that. When it comes to Zoya and Asad, they don't seem to have that, Tanveer easily comes in between them.š
AyRa's story seems more realistic, and it is more their story rather than Razia's story or Tanveer's story, whereas the AsYa story is hardly about them and more about Tanveer.
I guess what I'm saying is that I no longer really watch the show for AsYa, I watch it for AyRa.
The writers made such great pairings, but unfortunately for me the story they are showing is ruining the show.
Why when you have such a great pairing in AsYa would you be hell-bent on showing us excessive amounts of Tanveer and her ridiculous plans? Where is the logic?
