It was a beautiful day in London. The sky was blue and the birds were chirping. Although it was a beautiful day for some people. One person was tensed. Tensed in London? Some would say, but the reason was different.
Asad Ahmed Khan was in London, tensed of course. He was in his hotel room on his laptop. You might think that he was working, but there was no work to do. Instead he was looking for places to go sight seeing."Buckingham Palace..." He kept on reading
Suddenly his hotel door flung open and he immediately removed his eyes from his laptop to the beautiful sight. He was mesmerized and forgot what he was doing until her sweet, but perky voice piped up.
"Mr. Khan! I am sooo bored!!!"
Zoya Farioqqui. Yes Farioqqui was standing there with a yellow bright top that matched her personality with her hair up in a pony tail and blue jeans.
Then Asad spoke, "Watch TV in your hotel room."
Then Zoya spoke, bored, "Mr. Khan you are soo boring! Can't we go sight seeing?"
Asad just rolled his eyes and closed his lap top.
"Phupi told you to take me sight seeing! Not watching you work all day!"
Asad sighed as he remembered his ammi's words of taking Zoya to London since of course it was Zoya's dream and that Dilshad and Asad's little sister Najma had to go take care of his khala for a month.
"Remember beta, you have to propose to her there!" Her words came to his mind.
"Mr. Khan!"
Zoya snapped Asad out of his thoughts.
"What?"
"Where are we going?" Zoya asked
"Ok fine! Get your bag." He snapped
"Yay!!!"
Excitingly Zoya hugged Asad and ran to her hotel room.
He smiled when she did that and went to change from his suit to a more casual attire.
After a couple minutes Asad came out of his room and wearing a black button up shirt leaving two buttons with blue faded jeans and a pair of black sunglasses. He walked in front of Zoya's hotel room which was two doors from his.
After two minutes Zoya came out wearing a purple top and blue jeans. Her hair was in side pony tail and she was wearing a blue ring and purple dangling earrings. She was carrying a small royal blue cross bag. Her outfit was completed with her famous dimple smile.
"Ready Ms. Farioqqi?" Asad asked
"Of course!!" She replied excited
The couple headed out of the hotel and went to the parking lot where they found their rented car. They went inside it and Asad started driving.
"So Mr. Khan where are we going first? London Bridge? Buckingham Palace?"
Asad didn't say anything. Zoya knew that she should shut up and she just played on her ipad.
Asad stopped the car and they reached the Tower of London.
Zoya stared at the tower.
"Wow.." She said looking at the tower
Asad smiled and then said, "Lets go."
They both stepped out of the door and headed to the tower.
Zoya took pictures while Asad was looking for a way for propose to Zoya. They looked around and went to St. Johns Tower. Zoya told Asad some facts about the tower. He was amazed that Zoya was knew so much about the tower.
They took a tour around inside and outside. Zoya then said, "Mr. Khan look a tour!" "Lets join."
Asad looked at her with a faded smile and said, "I don't think we need to join a tour because you are here."
Zoya smiled at him and he smiled back. Their eye-lock broke when they heard someone yell.
It was an elder person. Asad and Zoya went to him with a crowd as he yelled, "Listen Listen everyone! This tower is haunted! The ghosts of Henry and Anne Boleyn are here to haunt you all!"
Listening to this Zoya held Asad's hand a little afraid. As the old man spoke about the ghosts Asad twined his fingers with Zoya's and looked at her who was scared. Zoya looked at him and he looked at her. Zoya held her grip on Asad's hands very tight.
Some security guards came and took the man away and the crowd parted.
"lets go Zoya." Asad said.
"Ok." She said a little frightened
After touring a little more Asad and Zoya decided to leave. Asad looked at Zoya before starting the car. She was staring out the window.
Asad started the car and started driving. He took some glances at Zoya who kept her gaze out the window.
Then finally Asad spoke, "Are you ok?"
"W-What? Oh sorry, Ya I am." Zoya said startled
Asad decided to cheer her up, "You know a lot about London."
She smiled a bit and said, "Ya, its my dream to come to London and now its fulfilled." She smiled at him
She started talking about London and how she wanted to go sightseeing. Then she said something that brought Asad's full attention.
"I always wanted to get proposed at Big Ben." She said dreamingly
"Really?" Asad asked
"Ya! Its so romantic."
"And you would say yes?" Asad asked
"Of course! But that will never happen." She said disappointed
That will happen Zoya. Asad thought.
After the couple of hours the couple visited Buckingham palace, The London Bridge where Zoya almost got pushed and Asad saved her.
They went shopping and bought some stuff for Dilshad and Najma.
Asad also bought something for Zoya. They dropped their bags at the hotel and went out for dinner. They had Italian and the dinner was amazing. Zoya kept on complimenting it. It was a nice dinner and the couple enjoyed it.
Asad and Zoya took a last stop before going to the hotel. Big Ben. It was Asad's idea to visit the big clock. When they reached to their destination, Zoya started taking pictures.
"Wow!" she exclaimed.
They walked to the park in front of the clock. Asad brought his coat along with him and felt his pocket which had the "special something."
In the park Zoya was sitting on a bench looking around the park. It was cold and in excitement she forgot to bring a coat. She felt a cold breeze and started shivering. Suddenly she felt warm again. There was a coat on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Asad. He put his coat on Zoya so she would stay warm. "Thanks." She said softly
He just smiled.
"Lets go look around the park."
Zoya stood and with Asad she walked around the park. It was beautiful and there were so many flowers. Asad picked a red rose and gave it to Zoya.
She smiled and thanked him. She grazed her fingers on the petals and smiled.
There was a branch in the way and Zoya almost tripped. She closed her eyes to fall on the ground, but a strong pair of hands caught her.
She opened her eyes and saw Asad's chocolate brown eyes looking into her delicate ones. (mitwa)
Asad just looked at her and smiled. A breeze messed Zoya's hair. She fixed it, but there was a strand of hair left. Asad moved closer to Zoya and took the strand of hair and put it behind Zoya's ear. His hand brushed Zoya's cheek. She felt a tingle as he did that. Asad also felt the same feeling. He liked it. In shock Asad came closer to Zoya. He caressed her face. She just closed her eyes. Asad took the rose and locked it behind Zoya's ear. Zoya blushed and turned around, but Asad held her hand. She turned around to see Asad bending down. She was shocked as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a red box. He took out a ring and kept it before Zoya. They were right in front of the Big Ben.
"Will you marry me?" He asked
Tears formed and fell down Zoya's cheek.
She nodded her head
"Is that a yes or a no?"
"Yes! I will marry you." Asad slipped the ring to Zoya's ring finger and stood and hugged her.
"I love you Zoya."
"I love you to Asad."
There were fireworks going to the sky. There was one firework shaped like a heart.
Finally the couple came together forever...
