I loved how Asad gifted Zoya the leather bound book... it's the most romantic gift for a book lover!!! The smell of the book is the greatest drug n the ones who know what I say will understand that overwhelming feeling!!!
Zoya finally explained what those lines meant for her... what his existence n proximity do to her... something that he too feels...
Fitzgerald... I've only read his 'The Great Gatsby'... that novel is a good read... I think I'll have to read his 'This Side of Paradise' too...

yes! i share the same feelings regarding the gifting of the book! i personally love it when someone gives me a book...be it old or new...its precious. Every time i open a book to read i am captured in the beauty of its literature. and this is what inspired me to actually write a story here. also showing that zoya does not have just her shayaris but a diff part to her as well...which apparently asad has brought out in her.

' The Great Gatsby' is an amazing read and so it ' This side of paradise' 😉.
