My Ghostie Best friend
PROLOGUE!
"See Zoya you should never think yourself as a freak. Think of it as a gift. You are special. Not that type of special what I mean is you are different, you are gifted. You have nothing to be ashamed of." The psychologist kept blabbering something which did not interest me at all.
I'm special! Yeah right. I rolled my eyes at his gibberish. I didn't want to waste any more time here so I got up, completely ignoring the doctor and walked out of the building. No amounts of psychologists are going to help me get rid of my problem. Only for my aapi's sake I decided to visit Dr Peterson. Aapi thinks he can 'help' me why can't she understand there's no freaking cure for this.
I stood at the bus stop waiting for my bus. I really hope the bus aint late today or else my boss will kill me, well no, he won't but I still hate coming late. Ok fine I don't wanna be late because I want to see him. Every day at exactly 9 am he stands in the reception area and then we share a ride in the elevator together. We don't talk but hey that's a totally different thing.
"I was keeping a track of the buses for you and I'm sorry to say but today it's gonna be late."
I completely ignored him but I couldn't help the frown to adorn my face. I stepped forward and searched for a cab but there was none in sight.
"You forgot today all cabbies are on strike. I thought I had told you this yesterday." Said another.
And again I ignored them.
"Annoying creatures." I muttered under my breath.
"Hey you don't need to be so rude. We were just trying to help you. If you want we can get you a lift."
I ignored them again and took out my IPod and plugged in my headphones.
"Why are you ignoring us?"
"Because ya'll are freaking ghosts! G-H-O-S-T-S! And I don't wanna look like a freak talking to thin air." I yelled.
That shut them up. I heaved a sigh of relief.
"Ouch that hurt Zoya. Bye we're not talking to you." They walked away hand-in-hand but not before giving me a totally dramatic look that said We-are-not-talking-to-you!
"Very mature guys." I rolled my eyes at their childishness. Childishness? They were ghosts for the love of god.
Robbie and Sara were those two ghosts who always waited for me at the bus stop. I'd grown very used to their presence although I never showed them. Important rule of clairvoyance "Never get close with ghosts". No there won't be any problem if you do get attached to them, this rule is only for our sanity's sake.
"Can you guys get me a lift?" I asked with a pout.
They flashed me their megawatt smile and went to get me a lift. How they did that is still a mystery to me.
After exactly 10 minutes a shiny black SUV stood in front of me. The window rolled down and the driver popped his head out.
"Want a lift Zoya?"
My mouth formed a huge 'O'. I looked at Robbie and Sara and they mouthed a "your welcome" to me. I turned to look at him again. The driver was none other than my boss "Asad Ahmed Khan". Holy shit!
A/N ' Haha confused guys? Fine ill give a summary. To those who aren't familiar with the meaning of clairvoyance. It's the power that some people are believed to have to be able to see and communicate with people who are Dead, dead, dead, dead *dramatic echo*.😆 Yes there are people like that. My best friend is one of them and I would be really intrigued whenever we would be together and he would say "there goes another spirit" hence this story is inspired by him and dedicated to him. I love you my weird best friend and no matter if you are freak you still are my best friend.🤗 :')
So you guys must've understood now that Zoya is a clairvoyant in this. I'll update the 1st chapter soon.
PS ' no this story isn't copied from sophie kinsella's twenties girl. Some aspects might be used but not the story. Leave your comments I'll update faster.
Love,
Sadie!😃
