okay so i dont get why najma. didnt try on the skirt herself since nothing is wrong with clothes and yes i know what some of u are goin to say .she wanted to see zoya in it ..silly! for my part.. next thing

why did they feel necessary to throw cover over their head when maulvi was there but they dont usually wear it, that is being hypocrtical.. cuz if u dont believe in something why are u doing it, so u are respecting the maulvi , ok fine, well what about God who happens to be seeing u every second wouldnt it be right to be respectful and obdience to him, see i know some might differ, but that simply makes no sense for me so what ? they are llving their lives to suit a mere man, cuz he's the priest,... no i would never accept that, so plz no one try to sell me.. bottom line for me ,that whole scene was nothing less than being a hypocrital. on part of all three ladies... sorry if i offened n e 1 but thats my opinion and dont drag this out plz... it has nothing to do with clothes but attitude..

I will just answer your first part.. Thats because skirt was of Zoya's size. It wudnt have fit Tamatar..

For second part, different ppl have different opinions.. I fully understand our views and agree with it but I also cant say those who behave like this are wrong.

Its a cultural thing believe me 🥱 i ask my parents tht when they say strange things like this but they dnt hv answers either its jus the way the desi society runs..

really, havent u seen big people fit into small clothes, u know they r like the classic 'puss in boots' story

and its not too late im sure najma cud get a size to fit her😆

It's out of respect for the Maulvi. Now, I know the ladies should be wearing scarf all the time but it's cultural and it's not that they don't respect god or something (in the show, there is no element of entire religiousness anyway - no point going on about it).

aah exactly my point! people do things not for the sake of God, but rather what society dictates.. im not saying anything against relgious belief, dont get me wrong plz.

Hi dear, for me Its a sign of respect to cover our hair before a religious person,

And it is a habit. At home we use to do it in front of my grandfather who is a very religious man. it is a sign of respect for him. nd i dont tak it as an hypocritical gesture just as a respectful gesture.

Like Zoya said in today epi she didnt want to wear the skirt because she knew tht Asad wouldnt be happy about it, its not hypocrisy just respect for others. :))

I agree. it's just respect. I dont wear a scarf, but when i have a molvi or older person around i put it on, like i will go out in jeans with my grandfather, but when i am at home and have a dubatta i will put it on even when i have jeans on.

well to me its not respecting, thats ur belief cuz if u look at westerners, or n e 1 from hollywood , do u see they wearing that cuz its not their belief also, n e ways i stand by my pow, hypocrisy, sorry if u cant conceptualize what i wanted to point out and im really not goin to get into it nor explain myself, what i would say is , if people do or say something they will always be be in opposition with those who dont do or say the same..

I am talking about the particular skirt that was in Zoya's cupboard.. That would nt have fit Najma.. Of course she will get new skirt of her size in shop but for that she needs to buy new one..
