Hi dear, for me Its a sign of respect to cover our hair before a religious person,
And it is a habit. At home we use to do it in front of my grandfather who is a very religious man. it is a sign of respect for him. nd i dont tak it as an hypocritical gesture just as a respectful gesture.Like Zoya said in today epi she didnt want to wear the skirt because she knew tht Asad wouldnt be happy about it, its not hypocrisy just respect for others. :))
