Loved Zoe's fight back, she roared! Her pain, her angst, all came flowing out. Does she even realize that she just confessed to Asad that she's changing herself just for him? That's an indirect declaration of love right there! I think this was the first awww... moment for me, because Asad also realized the depth of what she just said. That was also when the first hurt wala mitwaa just played. Aww... our Zoe is trying to change to fit Asad's profile, kya pyaar hai!
Not only that, she rightfully asked her Asad, when has HE not done anything just because she doesn't likes it? Justifiable question if you ask me. After so much that she's been through, after so much of trying to fit into his 18th century ideals of a wife, Zoe is sick of trying. She is done trying to be the one Asad aspires. Instead, she notices that Asad has done virtually nothing on this. Compromise and understanding has always come from her side. For some reason, the way Zoe fought back today seemed like a hurt girlfriend was asking her stoic boyfriend to bend a little, so that they can be together. She said it all with so much hakh, as if she has a right over him now. Imagine two months ago, poor Zoe would just blab "but Mr. Khan maine..." and she would be interrupted by more berating from Asad and would eventually cry herself to sleep. Asad would not even realize that what he said was wrong. Marked improvement, I'd say. And go Zoe! I loved the dialogue, "btw, yeh mere kapde hain, character nahin!"
