Totally agree with you. Clothing is emphasised on a lot more than other sins eg swearing. Hence it's seen as a bigger sin. I can't believe Gul being a Muslim.. Or calling herself a Muslim is actually showing a complete wrong image of Islam. If she really wanted to make a show with all this..why make it a Muslim based drama??

Hii first since u look new here as I havent seen u around before :)
And I get ur POV but cillax coz u seem really frustrated. Coz saying here in IF aiint gonna change anything...
I dont ry like how you are deciding who is Muslim and who is not coz its not iust abt the religion it also depends on the way u have been brought up and how okay u and ur parents r with theese.
Secondlyy,
When Asad is shirtless noone talks abt religion coz I assume even boys arent allow to show that much. So when he does no one points a finger but here there are 272727 posts talking about religion. Why?

Why shouldn't I? I am a Muslim, Ain't I? I might swear, but I take my religion very seriously, and the difference btw swearing and wearing a short skirt is way too high. ITS A MAJOR SIN, But like I said, I do not come with the tag of "I am a picture of Islam" so my actions do not count here, but a show that millions of people across the globe watch, and a show which has laid a claim stating "We depict Islamic culture" has no right to show it, and misguide people so wrongly.
Someone saying something about your mom, something wrong just coz you ain't a perfect piece, you won't defend her? If you'll step up for your mom, then this is your religion, A RELIGION, is one big big thing fellow.

Okay LOL, I won't. I was just saying I didn't swear up there, just gave the impression of an intensity. ;p

Wish people would leave the judging to God rather than take that responsibility onto themselves. God is the ultimate judge and none of us has the right to overtake that. Who are any of us to condemn others for their actions? Are we perfect ourselves?

Also - Qubool Hai never espoused itself to being a show depicting Islamic culture?
The evils that Razia commits is surely not in line with our religion either.
At the end of the day, QH is about Muslim families and they come as diverse as any other group. There are some who are more devout and observing than others. This is a show about families who happen to be Muslim. The show does not even show the characters doing any of the regular ritual Islamic practices in comparison to other shows centered around Hindu or Sikh families. It's a family drama - bas.

What I don't understand is why Zoya was wearing the short skirt? It doesn't seem to go with her character...I can see her wearing a long bohemian type skirt, but not a mini skirt. Any reason for this twist?

Just bcuz u were born a muslim...or ur name is a muslim name or u live in a muslim family..dsnt mean ur a muslim..and thts exactly whts pissing off abt this whole issue...juzt bcuz gul has named them fter muslims like asad or zoya dsnt automatically make them muslims and its not at all believable to the audience if she cant justify it...

im SORRY to say this but its actually this is really degrading...however im gonna give my 100% opinion on the scene only after i see it right now im jus commentin on whtevers going on in the forum...and as far as those actresses r concerned...i jus wanna ask u..if u know ANYTHING abt muslims..can u believe tht they r muslim by heart if they can do smthing like that? NOBDYS a saint and NOBODY can judge but i think there r sm matters tht once put in public everybdy has a right to speak abt them especially in media/on tv...and these actresses r the same...they r the reason even i myself as a muslim laugh at us bcuz it is soo shameful.

I too agree with u, I as muslim also found it shocking. It's not coz of my culture but coz in our religion Allah teaches us that a lady is most beautiful when covered modestly :)
Thank u for making such a post :)

Yeah I don't come here at all for alot of reasons but today I was bound to clear up a few things. Anyoone would be frustrated darling, one's religion is not a joke is it? I mean do we even get the importance of discussing a "RELIGION" out here posting out our beliefs?

It of course depends on the religion, if you've been brought up wrong, you're not following your religion than at the end of the day you do not belong to that religion do you? You are a grown up, you have the religious teachings and book to yourself, then how can you produce an excuse of "my environment, the way I grew up?"

LIKE I SAID, do not justify or side with AAK, Now since its a forum, I can't bring an old months back point here can I? But I'll just say Asad is never standing out in the hall and changing is he? he's in his room, and zoya ends up there all the time, and like i said not pointing anyone, thousands of things Asad do are not justified but the point is till when are we going to bear and just keep quiet coz oh its a show let it be? Let people be misguided. You are right, I might get nothing saying it outloud on a forum, but someway I had to convey a message because I saw so many people with wrong delusions here bout the whole skirt thing. I take my religion really seriously and who doesn't? Who can sit out there seeing a mockery of their religion? God its a miracle QH hasn't had a case filed against it.

Woah! What a post, the best post I've seen so far.

I totally agree with you dear, that Islam TOTALLY restricts wearing of short dresses.
When a Muslim girl wears short dresses, it does make her a bad muslim, but you can't judge her as a person. Being a good muslim is something else and being good human is something else.

I have seen girls OBEYING each and every rule of Islam, and still their hearts are so bad. 🤢 Like their are girls who wear Hijabs, body full hidden, no listening to songs, or movies and they are still not good human being, they get jealous of you, etc. And there are girls who wear mini dresses yet they are so sweet and humble. So clothing cant decide one's character as a human being but as a muslim YES.

Plus, we aint saints right? I see someone pointing out your use of foul language in a username, its not like something you are totally right but woah I cant judge you by your username. Likewise, I listen to songs day and night but you can't judge me for that? One rule or the other we do break, but that one thing cant empower our obeying so many other rules unless and until its a major rule.

I've seen ladies who are soo shareef still they back bite, that's a major sin. So I just want to say Islam prohibits all the above things, but something or the other we do break. And yes ZOYA is TOTALLY wrong according to her religion. If she feels its really cool wearing short skirt infront of Mr.Khan, no it isn't.Today first time I feel Mr.Asad Ahmed Khan is right at shouting at her. She deserves it! If Asad can haq jaatao her for 'Mein aapko ijazat nahin deta' " Aap tanveer se maafi mango' if Asad can make order her to do nonsensical things, I feel he should use his right NOW and order her to stop wearing such clothes, but as I said that does not show Zoya is bad character girl. Biggest example is that Tanveer who wears shalwar kameez , and you see what evil plans are going in her mind?

Hope I have made sense😆😆 Really liked your post.
