Just for the reference I dont want to turn this into a religious debate because for one this really isn't the time or the place and secondly unlike you I don't assume that I know everything about Islam but I just want to say that first Islam looks at your foundation, your character. If your character is dodgy then following other rules of Islam wont do you much good because your Niyyat is wrong.
