Asad & Zoya -how far they have come?

Asad is a male chauvinist, he believes women should be unopinionated , submissive, and docile. When he first saw Zoya he saw a venerable girl in distress, but that was not what captured his attention, what captured his attention at first glance was that she was incredible beautiful, he who never noticed girls, never even consciously lifted his head to look at the women walking past him was captured by this one face, then he noticed the tears and the vulnerability, he also noticed the bridal attire, and was even for a moment angry with himself that he laid his eyes on someone who was someone else's bride. Yet he could not look away. He must have felt that it would be the first and last time he lay eyes on her. then few minutes later he almost crashes into her with his car. Once again captured by her beauty all he could do his feast his eyes on her probably thanking the gods for another chance to behold her beauty. Alas then she opens her mouth and much to his shock this beautiful bridal attired damsel in distress is something different entirely. She is opinionated, vocal, and certainly not submissive or docile. But to his secret delight she wasn't a going to be somebody bride either.

Asad bumped into Zoya time and time again and everything they came face to face they clashed. And as fate could have it of all the place is the world that she could have been, she lands up as a guest in his house, her first night in his room ,in his bed. Was fate silently telling him that this is where she belongs, with him.

Though he does not always like who she is, he sees her strength, her belief in justice, her courage to stand against things that are wrong, her devotion and loyalty to her people she cares about that she could go to any lengths to make them happy. He also see her venerability and the deep pain she hides behind laughter and joy that miraculously is not a facade. As he is drawn to her beauty her very nature is contagious. And he can't escape it. he sees her as a woman and desires her as one. Asad cannot see any other woman the way she sees Zoya. Even Tanveer who in outward appearance seems to be exactly the type of woman he wants in a life partner, he does not desire her so he never sees her as a person he would want to spend the rest of his life with. Only Zoya fills that definition for him.

both of them share similar history, hers worse than his, but she has come out shining and joyfully spirited, while he has come our tarnished by the sooth of his past, judgemental and unforgiving. But she is contagious and he has caught the bug. The number of times he tells himself that he does not want her, his very being needs her. and however much he tries, he can't let her go, cause his world turns dark and gray without her, and he is now not content with this world which was once his. He needs to have her light and joy in his life, a light and joy she shares with everyone who touches her, his mother, his sister, his brother, even his estranged father.

And Zoya too hating Asad for what he stands for, love him deeply for what he is, a man who is the strength and support of his family. she relies on his strength and protection, his ability to fix things when she screws up. Asad has filled that place in her life that was empty. Asad is now the man in her life, the strength she can relies on, the shoulder to cry on, its only with him that she can share her deepest pain and fear knowing that only he has the strength and courage to share it. she knows he will always protect her when she needs him. he is the only man who awakens the woman in her, the secret desiers she is unfamiliar with and being around him brighter her day.
