Well almost...Considering today's episode seemed more like a filler, just to drag out the fake burns expose attempt into the next week as also to make up for Surbhi taking day off for her bday and Ksg for his wifey's bday... I went back to watching old episodes...some that I had missed as well...
In between all of Asad-Zoya scenes, a huge revelation presented itself to me...I know it might be a lil whacked out and that I'll probably draw a lot of flak for it, but here you go...share karna toh banta hai..
Aren't we unanimous in agreeing that Asad has daddy issues...He keeps harping on how he doesn't believe in relationships because he fears he will repeat daddy dearest's mistake. That's been his life long belief, isn't it? That's also preventing him from committing to Zoya and/or word his new found feelings to her. Correct? What if that actually comes true?
All docs or to be docs in the forum would ya'll please second me in the widely believed scientific theory that sub conscious mind plays a big role in human psych. Like how a optimist/ fight spirited individual is likelier to survive a near death experience than a pessimist.
Going by that, how does it sound when I say, Zoya and Asad will indeed marry to honor Dilshad's vow. But the acrimony being created by Tannu will ensure they still struggle to commit to each other much less consummate.
Between the spoiler that says, despite her lies brought out in the open ,Tannu continues to stay at Asad's house, isn't it likely she will keep up her efforts to keep Zoya-Asad apart? All is not lost with the wedding. Doesn't all of this pave way for Tannu to trick Asad into marrying her by way of pregnancy, either actually plotting where Asad is led to believe they had a romp in the hay stack or play the sympathy abandonment card?
There is a reason its said, like father like son, or that history repeats itself. Asad will be forced to marry Tannu and repeat his father's mistake. Maybe that'll soften his stance on Rashid. Which is good news. But unfortunately, the same new found thaw will sow seeds of separation upon revelation of Rashid's involvement in arson and subsequently the murder of Zoya's mom.
All hell shall of course break loose when Zoya has to accept that Rashid killed her mom and for Asad to accept Zoya as Siddiqui's daughter, the man who destroyed his mother's life.
I ain't much for symbolism's but read a post yest that stated, while Asad forced Zoya into apologizing to Tannu, Dilshad feared for Zoya's fate. That she too wouldn't have to suffer in her marriage thanks to a third person.
Asad dosti ki khatir ek aur nikaah kar sakta hai, hai na? He keeps saying his marriage to Zoya is a sham, toh Tannu se bhi naqli waala nikaah kar sakta hai na?
Zoya se shaadi ammi ki khatir kar sakta hai toh dost ki izzat bachane ke liye usse bhi nikaah kar sakta hai.
